Yea even better. I believe he deserves that much :) . He nailed a few scammers, in my book, he was a awesome dude. Title: Re: R.I.P. for members that have passed away Post by: firejuan on April 25, 2014, 08:16:10 AM If someone really cares about the community enough that they share with their family or friends (that friend maybe another forum member) that they are a member of this forum and want to have their account memorialized then I think it is something that should be looked into; however, it should also be verified by an online obituary or an newspaper containing the obituary.

Also seems like too much hassle and work to make it verifiable on both ends (actually verifying who you are and that you're actually dead), and I'm not sure what good the actual feature is not to mention it's bound to be abused. It'd be the similar if we had to verify each user before they were allowed to leave feedback. And I think the trust feature is useful, and while it is abused, people just need to make their own mind up with the evidence (or lack thereof) given. |
