I dont think it would be cheap to setup 10 instances of this.. I tried to do this last Oct and it was VERY expensive.. But I will admit, I did not really know what I was doing.. GPUs on Amazon are $3000+ Nvidia Tesla devices, and rented for high-end computationsFor CPU coins, otoh, the old AMD machines with Linux AMI can be nice, when requesting spot instances. Those cc2x8large with 32 cores costed $0.25 / hour and gave 700+ Kh/s on Heavycoin, which was very respectable before GPU mining came along.
