What exchange allows this?
If any such exchanges do this, whats the best rate?
I need some BTC as im wanting to invest in other altcoins.

I would never sell BTC to someone using a credit card, unless I knew them personally.

They can always claim the card was stolen and recover the funds.  You can't recover the bitcoins.

Im not asking to do a paypal transaction on here!
Im not that stupid, although i do understand some members make such transactions on this forum if they have a high trust level.
All im getting at is that all the exchanges such as cryptsy require you to spend BTC and not USD, and those that let you buy BTC with USD dont accept credit cards.

Hardly anyone accept credit card since you can claim your credit card to be hacked and get refunded. Just go to a bitcoin atm and buy using cash.

We dont have a BTC ATM here (yet).
Im in New Zealand and Auckland is the only place with a Bitcoin ATM.
Besides i thought those ATM's took credit cards, but perhaps im wrong, i thought paypal was the issue for refunds, are there not any escrow services?
Its annoying for me because i dont have a US bank account.

Sure, if you are willing to have the escrow hold onto your coins for the six to twelve months until your ability to do a charge back expires.

Once you can no longer claw back the money, you'll get your coins.

@OP I have used and personally recommend coinbase.com and coin.mx for buying BTC with my debit card.

Some places have ATMs installed already

due to charge back nature exchange always prefer wire transfer over cc or paypal

But OP mentioned already that there is no ATMs near him.

Selling BTC with credit card.... is not a good idea if you are not looking to scam someone.

i bought with credit card on btc-e exchange through payeer gateway, but the commissions are high and you have to verify yourself, but it works.

Because of chargebacks, this hardly every becomes a great solution.

If an exchange or place allows this... they might have some issues for longevity if someone scams them out of their BTC.
Treat Crypto as cash, and should be bought with cash.

They have very low buy limits as they are at a high risk of fraud.

I think there are a few other sites that will sell via credit card but the prices are much higher then the exchanges as they are taking a lot of risk to be scammed.

Coinbase allows you to link you bank account and use your credit card as a backup if your bank transfer is returned NSF

Ironically the OP would incur huge bank/NSF fees if he were to truly use his credit card to purchase from coinbase

you should try to deposit via EGOPAY, and PERFECTMONEY PAYPAL,
using your credit card then you can deposit your money from some online
currency wallet which I have just mentioned

AFAIK BTC ATMs will not allow you to use a credit card

You can't, you must trade fiat for bitcoin or bitcoin for fiat. These type of ATMs do not accept any kind of cards

I dont get how those ATMs pay instantly without conformation?
Obviously they would be a failure if you had to wait 10 mins for the first confirmation, so i expect they trust most people wont be ripping them off.

If you are buying bitcoin with cash fiat then you simply insert the cash in the machine and the machine instantly verifies that the cash is legit, you provide a QR code for your BTC address and the machines sends the BTC to your address, the confirmation (of the cash) is instant.

When selling bitcoin, the machine will provide a QR code with an address to send BTC to. It will print out a receipt that you can later scan to redeem your cash once the transactions is confirmed by the network (with "x" confirmations). You would not need to actually stand/wait at the machine while you are waiting for the TX to be confirmed.

Ok, that would make sense, but they demonstrated on TV the first Bitcoin ATM in New Zealand, he scanned the QR code with the smartphone and the cash came out of the machine almost instant!

BTC-E has such a feature. Fees are too high (if I am not mistaken) - check it by yourself.

There are a number of websites that allow this but the price per BTC that is charged is very high and the amount you can purchase per day is low. This is not an efficient way to procure bitcoin if you have other ways of purchasing

They probably changed the settings so it will disburse cash when the TX is showing as 0/unconfirmed for the demonstration, but in practice all of the ATMs likely need at least 1 confirmation

If the OP only want's the btc as a longish term speculation or some sort of savings, then this might not be a bad offer actually.

That's rough, though. It's one thing to buy options, but if you are paying for actual delivery of bitcoins, that seems like an awful long time to wait. Just wire some money to an exchange or use Coinbase or something, LOL. That's just me, though.....

I am sure that vod would want the OP to (ironically) cover the credit card fees in this situation.

Doesn't this essentially force you to pay rates that are much higher then what is available on exchanges?

I've also heard of many folks using virwox.  I think there's a pretty big fee but I'm thinking that's par for the course if you want to use a credit card.
