Title: SCRYPT coins are all dying - more obvious every day - Bitcoin will die too
Post by: flipme on April 26, 2014, 07:48:49 AM
With KNC dumping half a million $ worth of Bitcoin a day, who wants to invest in, or hold such Ponzi crap any longer?
The stupidity seems to come to an end now.

Almost all other non-Scrypt, ASIC resistant coins are on the rise.
DARKCOIN will run out Bitcoin in value and market cap rather soon, mark my words.
What an amazing development.

I think that someone is mad because they didn't buy Bitcoin when they were less than $1?  :D
Darkcoin won't overtake Bitcoin.

Almost all other non-Scrypt, ASIC resistant coins are on the rise.

If these become valuable someday, ASIC will be build for these coins as well. There is not anything like ASIC resistant, just how much more ASIC can be more power effective for particular hash function over general purpose CPU/GPU

I think it will take the limelight rather soon. Bitcoin is lacking in innovation.
The blockheads responsible for it must think their poo tastes like chocolate, in the meantime.
They just got too used to hold the pole position.
Bitcoin is unusable and obsolete as a currency concept. The outlook is pale.
The first DRK/FIAT exchange will wipeout Bitcoin.

Its not about ASICs, its all about the gangs who make them.
The crooked ways in which they are distributed. The way control is snaffled.
If they were available as an off the shelf commodity I would be just fine with the idea.

And by the way, for modern multi algo coins ASICs are not a choice, too expensive.
FPGAs fit much better and are widely available.

bitcoin may be king now but it can be dethroned, DRK is a contender we will have to wait and see

This isn't likely to happen now, in 5 years or possibly ever.

I think the right coin can knock bitcoin off its throne. But that coin will have to be innovative and marketable. Right now darkcoin is not marketable.

you need another really innovative coin to do so, just being anonymous isn't enough, drk won't de-thron shit(and i actually like drk)

THE FACTS ABOUT DARK COIN

1. released without windows QT so that only dev and pals could mine it.

2. Instamined harder than any other coin out there  12.5% of the current minting was mined in the first day

3. Later they decided to cut the minting by 75% to turn their 12.5% instamine with no windows QT into 50% instamine in 24hours - nice hey

yes that is correct they mined 50% of all the coins available at this time by themselves in the first 24 hours whilst windows users could not mine.

That is the facts.... doesn't matter what else they say... nothing can change what they have done.

Once zero coin, or bytecoin with a decent wallet it released or another darkcoin clone is released.... dark coin will sink like a stone.

Every time they try to spam their coin just post this to remind them of the facts about their coin.

whoops - we released without a windows qt ....whoops ....the diff got stuck on super low whilst only we could mine......WHOOPS we just cut off 75% of future coins so now our 12.5% of all current coins just turned into 50%....lol and their people spam the main board with what a great deal it is to buy darkcoin now. Keep in mind probably 1 in ever 2 coins or greater you buy ...they are selling to you whilst telling you what a great investment it is :)  LOL

80-90% off all cryptocoins are just "pump-n-dump"-ers.
coins only made for those devs to get instant "rich".

at the present and near future a new cryptocoin to actually surpass Bitcoin is mainly impossible. they need an market so the coins can be used, they need a solid brand, solid market strategy and more people to understand why crypto is much better than fiat and why they need to adopt it, t'll then bictoin is the mother and father of all cryptos.

my opinion si that the next 5 years are just for testing, hard times will come for the cryptocoins.

Bitcoin is old and took years to get where it is. Darkcoin is an infant that needs to grow up first. Then maybe it will have a marketplace in Tor for drugs, CP and other illegal shit. It will never take the king, it can't, it has no army.

I don't really care on what kind of hardware its running, as long as it is widely available.
But I'm totally against monopoly and oligarchy when it comes to cryptos.
It has to go away, for the idea to succeed. Either that goes away, or PoW has to go away altogether.

Not to discredit you Lauda, as I don't see BTC being overthrown in the near foreseeable future either.

But for both of your examples.  Think about MySpace and Yahoo.  Both dominated those exact markets you referenced not many years ago, and both companies laughed when little Facebook and Google came along and the people said they would one day overthrow them.

PROVED YOU WRONG
THE FACTS ABOUT DARK COIN

1. released without windows QT so that only dev and pals could mine it. Most cloud miners and other serious miner use only Linux anyway soooo no big deal! Come on, you must have known that!

2. Instamined harder than any other coin out there  12.5% of the current minting was mined in the first day Check your numbers, I cant find any out there about the insta-mine.
but i know you dont know math. lmao

3. Later they decided to cut the minting by 75% to turn their 12.5% instamine with no windows QT into 50% instamine in 24hours - nice hey math! 4m are out and 21.3m total sooo-?? that is not 50/50% you jackass. ::)

yes that is correct they mined 50% of all the coins available at this time by themselves in the first 24 hours whilst windows users could not mine.
4million coins out is 50% of 21 million? No, and look at the top 100 addresses here, very impressive. http://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-darkcoin-addresses.html (http://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-darkcoin-addresses.html)

That is the facts.... doesn't matter what else they say... nothing can change what they have done. Facts!? You do not have facts my friend. and personally, I like the changes. less coins the better.

Once zero coin, or bytecoin with a decent wallet it released or another darkcoin clone is released.... dark coin will sink like a stone.

Every time they try to spam their coin just post this to remind them of the facts about their coin.

People like me are all about a low mintage, when the websites change to their are fewer then 84 million coins, they will see Dark in a new light.

this means nothing. all those coins were created to scam as much bitcoins as possible. So most coins do not need 6 moths they are already dead. and new other types of coin will keep being created to keep the scamming away from the FOMO investors

QFT

sick of the scammynes of this coin and how BAG HOLDERS bullshit everyone about this coin non stop to get more people involved.
fuck Dark coin .
and no it's NOT the Bitcoin killer that is just laughable lol

I do think you saying scrypt asic miners dumping huge amounts of BTC like crazy is bad and probably what is behind it (i don't have any idea who is doing it)
but it is happening daily and it's suppressing BTC's value clearly.

what has to happen is scrypt coins being asic mined have to lose popularity and value enough for them to stop making soooooo much BTC on it and dumping
and i think that will come in time as clueless morons realize that uh ohhh my Scrypt clone coins are dropping in value like Spoentnik said long ago..  ;)

remember how you all said scrypt asics would make scrypt coins all worth a fortune ? i do.. every one of you argued with me endless about it giving me dumb fuck excuses lol
supply and demands and the rules that surround it will never change no matter how much crypto dipsht-talk is spewed from greedy manipulative clowns.
a well know guy at Cryptsy said that exactly to me lots and of course he said that because he stands to make a lot of money from it IF he's right lol
follow the money lol

Have you read what darkcoin is about? I don't think that you have.
Why is it a bad coin in your perspective? Which coins do you find good?
