Good question i dont have the answer for this. I think it may be possible thru the account control. best place to ask is www.nxtforum.org create a topic there and im sure one of the devs will gladly answer that for you.

Oh yes it will lol. when the multigate way goes active amd you can exchange any crypto to and from any crypto you can say good bye to 3rd party exchanges. Nxt is fronting the crypto movement

Yes wesleys client is now the standard nxt client and comes with the latest downloads and is asset exchamge ready

Can any explain briefly the posibilities that the AE will bring?  I mean, a easy and clear explanation for the crypto-average-joe (i.e. me). What will a user be able to do only with his NXT client?

Nxt Asset Exchange

The Nxt Asset Exchange is a peer-peer exchange built into the software allowing decentralized trading and eliminate trading fees. The Nxt Asset Exchange will allow trading for almost any currency and for almost any commodity.

This feature is based on the "colored coins" concept. Since the blockchain provides a trustworthy record of transactions, it can be leveraged to provide a record of trade of items other than Nxt. To do this, Nxt allows the designation or "coloring" of a particular coin, which builds a bridge from the virtual crypto-currency world to the physical world. The "colored coin" can represent property, stocks/bonds, commodites, or even concepts. As a result, the Nxt Asset Exchange could be used to trade almost anything.

I dont get it (sorry for ignorance). Can I sell non digital things? Like on Ebay? Is there any mechanism, that will make business parties fulfill the "promise".
I mean If I sell a guitar, why cant I keep it? What about scammers?

That will be the start. Tons of releases are coming in May after the Asset Exchange.

They worked very hard the past months.

Is there a need to implement some code for every different coin before you can trade them and only few coins tradable from the start ??

There are a few other coins with plans to implement an asset exchange, but it looks like Nxt will be the first to actually do it. That gives it a nice first mover advantage. Will the Nxt exchange have any unique features that no other coins are planning?

There is really only NXT and it's clones or EXO and Qora. Once people start using a NXT asset exchange in theory there is no advantage of one or the other. It's gonna be like choosing between phones cause the operating system is gonna be almost the same with NXT clones.

What happens when not all updated the NXT wallet and ended up in fork?

Please download the latest version 1.0.0 and enter your existing password to retrieve your account. Everyone needs to do this before ae launch or you will miss the hard fork.

Why is this needed? You can install the 'latest' client version and download the new blockchain any time you want or am i missing something?

Yes there is not a  person stood next to a big red button getting ready to turn it on your correct. It will be automatically enabled once block 135,000 has been reached which is roughly 5 days

You do understand the differences between a 3rd party exchange(cryptsy) and a decentalized exchange (nxt) dont you?. this should be enough for you to see the potential nxt has.

Your probally right dude. but regardless of me hyping up nxt a little bit its still going to rise due to the developments that have been made and are due to be in use in a matter pf days/weeks. take my advice or leave it. i have a nice pot of nxt that i have held onto since november 2013 and ive seen highs of 16k sats and still held onto most of my stash. im more interested in getting people on board and using the tech than i am with selling all my nxt at a good price lol. i want to use my nxt with the features and be able to use these features with others.  ;D
