Title: every transaction a new bitcoin address?
Post by: robocop on January 13, 2012, 11:09:28 AM
I have a question. I sent a small amount of Bitcoins to another address and I checked my Bitcoinaddress in blockexplorer. There I've seen that the balance is zero and all Bitcoins would be sent to another address.

But I can't see the new generated address in the client and I would prefer that only the Bitcoins will transfered which I sent to an address and the rest will keep on the old address. So I can check all transactions in blockexplorer in one table.

Why the client will sent the rest of amount to the new address?

If you insist, you can add the sending address as a second recipient to which you send all remaining coins. However, this is not recommended.
