Right now the prices are way to high on the new hardware coming out. From what I've seen even the cheapest 1TH+ miners coming out won't ROI unless BTC value rockets. However, you would have just made more money by buying directly. We're either going to see a huge drop in ASIC prices or a huge spike in BTC pricing later this year. If you had an antminer that has already made a ROI of it's cost, it would be generating $5.5 per day at the cost of $0.80 day(my power is kinda cheap) Mining right now is way too profitable. It is part of the reason difficulty is climbing so fast and price of btc going down. Mining will always trend towards barely profitable. |
