Wonder how much profit was generated from 1 bitcoin worth of investment at the start of the IPO.. IPO was 0.1/share and ASICMiner has paid 0.6146 BTC a share so far. It would be about 6.1 BTC earned if you've held shares since IPO for 1 BTC spent. For their first year of operations, they averaged about 0.01/share a week. A lot of them have been profitable in fiat terms...which means investors would have been better off holding their Bitcoin than investing in a "company". I just added up the total dividends/share since then, the total is .0008334244.
So if you bought shares at the ipo price of .05 your ROI since 11/8 would be 16.67%. But the share price is over three times the ipo price now so if you cashed out now it would be a pretty good overall trade. I'm keeping my shares though. When he made that statement FAS had returned 43% and now they have returned 46% to those that has been invested from day 1 in the FAS stock.
