Title: Why does the "new" wallet not show the block count?
Post by: Rockford99 on January 16, 2012, 03:17:51 AM
I downloaded the new wallet that can be encrypted, but I don't see the number of connections or blocks listed.  Can any tell me where to find them or tell me why they are excluded.

it's all part of the "better" interface. if you want to see detailed information, you have to hover your mouse over something. hover your mouse over the signal bar for connections, hover your mouse over the checkmark/sync symbol for number of blocks.

see? it's so intuitive!

2003 version.   Constant and never ending activity, but not much improvement.  The encryption part is useful. Whoever left out the block chain visibility, "out-thought" themselves.
