Title: HASHRA launched - Lunar Lander
Post by: nikolaz on April 29, 2014, 08:19:40 PM
First of all, I am not involved with the company just satisfied customer however I can with certainty say that Hashra will be releasing their own scrypt miner.

According to my source, Hashra will be using their own chips, boards, hardware etc and most likely to build in Shenzhen, CHina.

I don't have much info but they will be launching this product on 1st May, I cannot say if it is a pre-order or they will have it in stock ship immediately. I am guessing all will be revealed on Thursday but I am hoping for a teaser image.

Just to confirm Hashra has been shipping Gridseeds products, pretty much an existing company that have delivered on multiple occasions and I have personally received Gridseed Blades.

I really hope for an affordable scryp miner. Watch this space...

HASHRA NOW HARDWARE MANUFACTURER
As many of you might have noticed, we have paused orders for the past few days for our Gridseed products. That was in fact to prepare us for this very special announcement we are about to make here.

HASHRA has now become a hardware manufacturer and we will soon be delivering our very own miners to your doorstep! We have been working on this for sometime and the good news we will be ready to ship very soon, no long speculative long pre-orders.

It was always our plan to start producing our own hardware and now we have the chips ready and final testing complete… we are ready to launch this rocket!

We will of course continue to support all our customers that have so far purchased from us any Gridseed products and we will continue to develop our HASHRA CONTROLA firmware for these miners too.
We will continue to develop this for the Gridseed miners and our own hardware too, we want to make this firmware the very best it can be.

I would personlay like to thank all our early customers that have been with us on this crazy journey, the ups and the downs and sticking with us. Thank you.
We hope to continue to support you with all your crypto mining long into the future.

We will be launching our new range on 1st May 2014 14:00 GMT at hashra.com.
We hope you'll like it. ; )

Cannot give away too much right now.
All I can say is "yes" it is an ASIC Scypt Miner and "yes" it is powerful and "yes", it looks sexy. : )

Lets get mining to the Moon!

Simon Bright
and all at…
THE HASHRA TEAM

Looks interesting, hope they rock the ASIC scrypt world.

"Good news we will be ready to ship very soon, no long speculative long pre-orders"

Finally we are slowly getting rid off this awful pre-order BS that plague both SHA and Scrypt mining.

I am curious about the specs and pricing now.

EDIT: If you have been selected for the Sampling Batch, would appreciate the early reviews before ordering the new machines.

June 10th isn't that far away and with luck this will drive the price of Gridseed Blades down to match per MH. I also wouldn't be surprised to see new GS items popping up as it looks like the floodgates have been opened on these "new" chips.

Lightning ASIC (Jack) is a scam, please read: https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=16301.1395

He doesn't have any miners in stock and is charging a lot of money for a "prototype"

Hashra is genuine and will deliver. They sent me my gridseed staff and I am looking forward getting one of their Lunar Landers.

Well, to be honest all I can confirm is that HASHRA has delivered my Gridseeds and one would think they would deliver their own products.

I am most likely to order the Warp 6 as soon as my 3 faulty units get repaired or replaced, I will sell them on eBay to cover some of the cost.

They are looking sexy but I will also like to wait for the sample batch reviews and videos.

I too have bought and received hardware from Hashra, so I can vouch that they will follow through.

However, there is no way the "+" is worth $2,900 AND a month later ship date.

Although they look really cool!

If you guys are existing customer there should be a little gift waiting for you in your inbox.

I am thinking do I part with $14K or book a flight to Vegas as put it all on red.

I am definitely giving Simon and his Hashra team a chance. Even they had some hickups in the beginning with shipping their gridseed stuff they managed to solve most of the big problems. China is not an easy place for a western guy to make business. I have ordered a Warp 6 today and I am sure he will be able to deliver on time. Just 40 days left!!

Better yet, look at the board, see which colors have been dominating and which numbers have hit the most over the last hundred rolls.  Then bet on the color due to hit which has the lowest percentage of hits, if you fail, double your bet on same color!  Rinse repeat, win MOAR CASH!

OT: I have yet to order from Hashra but this looks interesting.  Took the dive with a competitor and they delivered on time which was nice for a change.

We should also keep an eye out for price reductions on Blades because they become competitive again when they get closer to $800. They are also available now and not in a couple of weeks (but not at that price yet...)

Just the ship date is so far away :(

I do agree that a box like this can generate $300/week and that's $1,200 you could have...
but the only real option is the gawminers box and that's 4 week away (if you can get in on the second delivery) and I want 30 Mhs not 27 and this box is a better deal anyway and I do like dealing with these guys - they've been good to me so far and I've bought multiple items from them.

however I've gotten used to the waiting game and there will be new coins all the time. I'm an anxious as anyone. Hell - I've got a couple of Mining Asics boxes on order that won't be here till august - now that's a wait. :)

:)

True... Look at this way, there is not a miner out there will return ROI quick enough without BTC price increasing...

I've considered it but I would have to charge for membership. I have the servers available. My trick is not to follow the coinwarz crowd because they all rush to the highest paying coins and by the time they've mined enough to sell all the smart miners who mine when values are low dump their accumulated coins in the market and drive the price down leaving the "rush crowd" holding all the low value coins.

I have servers available and installed Mpos to test my own little mining pool

perhaps

Definitely looking to grab a Lunar Lander...  (not for LTC btw...) Cheers to Hashra...  they seem legit as hell.

Does anyone know the best way to remote control using Controla firmware?

I want to be able to access Pi and miner from anywhere under OSX. I currently use ssh on an old laptop accessed by Teamviewer to control GPU rigs running cgminer, and would like something that works easily like this.

a little roundabout method - I use port forwarding on my router at home (I have a static ip from my service provider) and forward certain ports to ips/oports on my network at home and use cgwatcher (on my office computer) to monitor my three rigs. I have gpus in all three rigs, 3 blades on one rig and 20 gridseeds on another rig.

just an idea - I'm sure there are better ones.

Lol...  i have been GPU mining scrypt since October and have yet to actually mine a Litecoin! Like JJJ, I have done pretty well finding profitable alts...  it's a job though.

The problem with starting a pool or even an info service or something...  is your profits will be destroyed by your own wake when too many other miners follow your lead...  it always seems like a game of cat and mouse, no? That being said, I feel Ipominer has the right idea, although I don't always agree with their picks.

Also whoever posted that spreadsheet...  man, THANK YOU! I still think Hashra real advantages...  The main one being that they are definitely in production and it seems likely you will get your miner when they say...  that is worth A LOT. Anyone who can get theirs soonish will have a solid short term windfall that could theorhetically compensate for the higher purchase price. I'm trying to iron out a solid purchase strategy for ASICS as we speak... and this is one of the key issues...  price vs delivery.

Right now I am leaning towards phasing in, and getting a Blade or two immediately and placing an order for a Lander or something like that for a delivery a couple of months from now.

I've been easing into it over several months now - same as you - started with rigs which still run great - got 20 gridseeds, then one blade, then two more and now a 30 MH lander on order but I made up my mind a few months ago my retirement (which is a few years away) will be spend mining so I have two 125MH Mining Asics on order. I feel most comfortable with Marc Coumans the CEO and did meet the folks from KNC when they were in NYC last month for the Bitcoin Convention. For me it's a comfort level.

Time will tell - I can tell you that all gridseed products have been rock solid since they day I plugged them in.

:)

Latest announcement from Hashra
------

LUNAR LANDER SPECS UPDATE, NEW PRICES, NEW VIDEO & PROMO!
Hello Dear Crypotonauts!

It has been a pretty busy week for us and he have some big news to announce.

As you all know by now we are now producing our own hardware and to kick things off we are very shortly shipping out our Lunar Lander ASIC Scrypt miners.

SPECS AND PRICES:
We have been testing the case design this week along with the Apollo Module that powers the miner and have been calculating the perfect balance of power, hash rate and clock speed.
Right now the hash rate for one Apollo Module has been from 12MH up to 17MH.

Despite reaching such highs as 17MH we are reluctant to sell you something at a speed that we have yet to confirm for ourselves is rock solid stable.
Because of this we are revising our quoted hash rate estimates from 15MH+ per Apollo Module to 12MH+.

The Module does in fact sit stable higher than 12MH but as we have always done in the past we promise lower and deliver higher.

Of course because of this we have now revised the prices of our Lunar Lander range to be as competitive as possible.

New Prices are as follows:
APOLLO MODULE - UPGRADE KIT (12MH+): $1750
LUNAR LANDER WARP 1 (12MH+): $1795
LUNAR LANDER WARP 2 (24MH+): $3395
LUNAR LANDER WARP 4 (48MH+): $6350
LUNAR LANDER WARP 6 (72MH+): $9195

LAST FEW "COMING TO THE MOON" PROMOTION:
Ok, as we are in our final week of sales for Batch 1 of our Lunar Lander we decided to give you a discount for the last few that want to come to the moon with us! For next 50 orders we will offer you 10% off your order if you use this coupon code: moonrock

VIDEO:
Here you can see our latest video and even get to witness me (Simon) mumbling about how great the case is. I promise next time I'll work on my presenting skills. : )

Anyone have firmware for the lunar lander? It's no longer on github.

Thanks,
