Which OS you are using? If it's windows, scan your PC for any kind of malware infection.

Jeeze. Again? You must be infected. I'd use linux for using Bitcoin, but make sure you have 2-factor auth set up. I prefer the one that sends you a text before you can access your account. Did you have a second password on your account also?

Make sure you haven't installed any weird extensions to your web browser.

Do you have any add ons your browser your using that your not aware of?

That really sucks though, not sure how they got to you unless a keylog or some type of phising tatic through email.

Blockchain recovers stolen bitcoins right? or am I just hearing things.. I read somewhere that they got their funds back since it was sent to another blockchain wallet?

hacked again...this time on blockchain...

Sorry to see your loss.
Have you use the same password somewhere else? Have you enabled 2FA on bc.i?

To be honest, most of the hacks are not on server side of bc.i.

If you have any clue what went wrong please post it up so some others can try and protect themselves so this doesn't happen again.

U should not use your normal work pc/email/browser to store/access ur blockchain.info account. Use something very secure, ur btc account is like ur bank account.

Can you explain how it's gone down hill? Their service and features are pretty top notch and if anything bad happens it will be because of something the user did or didn't do.

Now I am really worried... I had just read about a similar robbery from Blockchain wallet in the Service Discussion.  >:(

If people set up 2 factor auth and put a second password on then they'd probably be fine:

My Blockchain Wallet  hacked and i lost bitcoins.
81 Wallet hacked lost 13.5 btc for all wallets.

The transaction is :

1LQQkqtWWruiofuD8jkMHxD5jMdKk7Vuh6

the bitcoins is not safe in Blockchain Wallet!!
I open case and the answer is :

 Mandrik (Blockchain)

Apr 28 19:40

I am sorry to hear of these transactions that you did not initiate. You may have some type of malware on your computer that resulted in your funds being stolen, because your private information was somehow obtained. There's also the possibility that you visited a phishing site posing as blockchain.info. By design, Blockchain.info never has access to users' accounts or bitcoins. If you keep your password and private key backups secure, then your bitcoins are safe with blockchain.info. There is also no way to reverse a bitcoin transaction. In the future, to ensure your account is protected with an extra layer of security, always enable two factor authentication. I would also highly advise against ever using this compromised wallet again, as someone else clearly has the private keys in it. I wish more could be done to get your funds back to you, but the nature of bitcoin makes it nearly impossible.

-----

Have you enabled 2FA?
Have you received some phishing emails and clicked the link?
Have you download some "strange" programs which may contain keylogger?

no,no.and no!

I doubt that security system has failed, users weren't responsible for their funds enought, same thing could happen with your internet banking.

I doubt that security system has failed, users weren't responsible for their funds enough, same thing could happen with your internet banking.

I really hope that it is the case. Blockchain.info is (probably) the most popular online service right now, far ahead of other service providers such as Coinbase and Armory. Any failure will be catastrophic for the Bitcoin.

I guess they would already notice it and halt the transacions...there would be way more topics claiming they got their coins stollen cuz of glitch.

It's not their fault people don't look after their coins. How hard is it to take advantage of the security features? If people are lackadaisical with security then it's their own fault. I'm sure more desktop wallets are actually hacked than online ones as well, especially with their lack of security features.

Just set up 2FA guys and tadam you should be protected...atleast waaaaaaaaaay more than with just some kind of simple password.

+1.
If you got malware on your machine, your bitcoin will get stolen no matter you are using blockchain.info, coinbase, multibit, electrum or bitcoin-qt. People should learn to use 2FA and different passwords for different sites, and be careful with phishing emails.

I immediately sent an email to blockchain security. No reply.

I use google authenticator, 2fa,
I created a brand new wallet address, not linked to any other.
I can't figure out for the life of me where I was vulnerable.

i hope blockchain can help...

Wait a minute, you were using Google Authenticator and you got hacked?  I thought that was basically impossible.  Wouldn't they need access to your particular mobile device?

2FA is useless if hacker got a copy of backup wallet or private keys from his PC/Email etc

Always use a bookmarked page, but most importantly check you're actually using the legit site before you put details in. Did you have 2-factor set up as well?

2FA means two-factor authentication.
You can find details here. (https://blockchain.info/wallet/google-authenticator and https://blockchain.info/wallet/sms-two-factor)
