Title: Mintpal, the most greedy exchange
Post by: reRaise on April 29, 2014, 09:52:25 PM
So Mintpal is asking $4500 for 50k votes, these guys are too greedy, Or you need to vote, making some utterly shitty scammy coins nobody cares about go on a giveaway spree at altcoingiveaways for people to vote and after that it's on the exchange nobody cares anymore with no volume. They should add them manually this is stupid.

Mintpal looked good when it came out. Now it looks like the most greedy one out there.

What does the term voting means when you can simply buy the votes?

Why dont they simply ask for money to add coins?

Mintpal is the fastest exchange to add instamined hyped coins. They just look at how many noobs follow a hyped coins and add it to get the volumes.

Mintpal is supporting a lot of shitcoins causing crypto look like a get rich scheme.

The push from everyone for transparent coin voting came from users there is really little revenue in it for us at least. Our algorithm takes way more than the vote list into consideration free votes carry more weight than paid votes etc.

Its a voluntary system in the end coins with the most demand will be added to either exchange really.

I did cotact support, they just give me the same stock message. A couple issues:

#1

I have been trying to withdraw 1.9 Billion CENT for almost 2 months. A month ago they said it should be out in a few days, 2 weeks ago they said a week. A stock message every time I contact support. I feel like I am talking to a wall.

#2

I have a guy who purchased CENT Coins from me. He deposited them to his Cryptsy deposit address. It has been weeks, and they still show pending. Cryptsy keeps giving him the stock message saying they are working on it. Seroiusly?

#3

I have a guy who purchased COL Coins from me. He deposited them to his Cryptsy deposit address. It has been weeks, and they still show pending. Guess what? Same stock message as #2. I think they are working on rolling out MN1 and MN2.

I know cryptsy is a public company, I am seroiusly thinking about getting the attorney-general.

I don't like the act of buying votes, but I'm not really sure how to make a voting process that's non-cheatable by a giant army of IT professional users, programmers, black hat Russian cyber thiefs, network engineers, and computer scientists.
