Woot woot!

Today I joined a very exclusive group - those members who have an activity count over 1000!   ;D

Not wanting to brag (well, kind of), post here if you also have an activity over 1000!

congrats that is quite te feat can i ask ow many days you have spent online? i seen phils been on 200 days but only has 418 activity but 20,000 posts. and thanks for being such a great member

okay vod i do have one question. can you really lick your own boob? since this is such a great day u must answer truthfully and also has bitcoin done well to u?

I cannot.  :(  On this great day I will announce my chest is in pretty good shape for a 43 year old.  I am 5'11'' and 200 pounds - I used to be a bouncer but have lost a lot of muscle mass and my gut is what forfeits my manly appearance.  

ahh well dont worry brother hang in there im nearly 20 and out of shape. working on getting back in shape but its hard in todays world so much temptation. and my gf is a good cook witch doesnt help and she likes to go to good restaurants witch also doesnt help my situation

I understand the temptation of good food.... in fact, I dropped 40 pounds by eating my most delicious (and heaviest) meals at breakfast and lunch.  I haven't had a regular evening meal for almost two years - and I have kept the weight off, eat whatever I want and I'm not hungry at night.  :)

There was a time when I was a baby (1970) that you could have pushed my head down far enough so that I'd lick my own boob.  But my spine has solidified since then and I've grown some neck muscle.  Those days are gone.

And the drinks are on you!  ;D

You can pour them (one at a time) in my belly button!  First one is for you buddy!   :D

So you missed the first huge Bull run, and got to see the way down.
It's almost better that way...When I joined it seemed too easy, BTC went up almost every day.  :)

I hope so too. By the way how much time you must spent on this forum to reach 1000 activity score? It is 1000/14=71 71*2=142weeks? You will be 1000+ score after 142 weeks spent here? Or i failed in math?:D :D

You passed... The teacher's manual says to do it this way:
1000/365*52 = 142.47  :P

43 weeks and your math didn't fail you.

Maybe you should have posted this in the exclusive group forum where people have over 1000 activity if you want people with 1000 activity to reply here.

Why wouldn't it, that's when block reward halves, shit is gonna go crazy then. :D

I think even bigger moment is when you will achieve Hero Member status. Anything past that point is just not that important in my opinion.

It's quite easy to achieve - 'simply' post 14 messages every 2 weeks for 5 years and you're golden :D

It's faster than 5 years.

They are (sometimes) more important for fresh excitement and new ideas.

and sometimes lazy/stupid questions, because they are lazy enough to not use the search option and spam for evey single thing! newbie jail ftw!

How many of you are having 1000 activity? I am member since october 2013 and still having low activity. But congrats to you all with the 100+!

This forum (the mods and many members) are extremely tolerant of repeated posts and duplicate topics.
Many sites on the Net are the exact opposite.
Sometimes it works out well*: Instead of being "harsh" with the noobs we can say "This topic has never been discussed before"  ::)
* 'Punishing' repeat/duplicate topics and merging threads is often worse than what we have here.

I didn't notice when I passed 1000 activity but it must have been a couple of months ago. Funny thing is, I'm not a prolific poster, I just happen to average about one post a day on a consistent basis.


Maybe there should be a new category like "Active Hero Member."

There should be an other category for 960 activity and higher

You can sort by the number of posts (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=mlist;sort=posts;start=0). Only posters with 1000 posts or more who joined before August 2011 could possibly have achieved that activity. It doesn't guarantee that they have, but it does significantly reduce the pool of possible members.

I counted 926 members with more than 1000posts, about a third of them joined before August 2011 so there should be about 300members than could have achieved this activity but probably less than 10% of them did

Ex qwk joined in June 2011 and posted more than 2000posts but only have accumulated 616 activity points

Many people took tons of "time off" in 2012.
Things got really slow for a while.
