Post by: tbearhere on April 30, 2014, 05:49:06 PM
If I'm mining with to rigs or 2 computers,at the same hash rate each, would it be better to setup 2 workers 1 for each and why please? thank you

I use multiple workers, one for every hashing unit.
This allows you to troubleshoot anything that is not working very easily as you know exactly what rig is having problems.
Further more on my scrypt rigs, each GPU has its own worker.
Came in handy the other day when one of the fans had died on my r9 280x it started to hash very low due to being 100oC checked the pool seen the worker was down and inspected and fixed the problem.(added mineral oil to fan)
