If you are on Windows you can grab a build here: http://luke.dashjr.org/tmp/code/webisect/webisect.php?dobuild=gridseed Title: Re: need some help with a gridseed miner Post by: acckiller on May 02, 2014, 09:03:22 AM i have tryed this thing with cgminer 3.7.2 and cpuminer i seen on youtube the grrenlight blinks and the red light stays solid and it shows that it is hashing but i don't get and accepted shares it just saids what the diff is and the pool deteected a new block that is all can someone tell me what i'm doing wrong please thank you

Title: Re: need some help with a gridseed miner Post by: colinrgodsey on May 09, 2014, 12:50:51 PM ScalaMiner (https://github.com/colinrgodsey/scalaminer) will work with the 5-chip gridseeds with scypt (simultaneous btc/scrypt mining soon! already doing this with the 1 chip gridseed, and unfortunately have to configure frequency in code, can give u more instrunctions), but I have held off on gpu support for a bit =\ Soon for that too.
There's also the random gridseed cgminer fork, which works ok but crashes constantly when overclocking =\ Title: Re: need some help with a gridseed miner Post by: sandor111 on May 09, 2014, 06:52:15 PM Hello, did you try cpuminer-gc3355? https://www.dropbox.com/s/ttqa9p851siz8oi/minerd-gc3355.zip
Title: StarMiner image for RasPi (was: need some help with a gridseed miner) Post by: LinuxETC on May 10, 2014, 11:24:51 PM hey guys could someone help me with a gridseed miner which software it bets to use i'm at work right now and can't hook it up comesome give me the links to the software i really like cgminer it there one that you can use a 7970 and a gridseed together please help me thank you You can try our StarMiner image (https://sourceforge.net/p/starminer) for a Raspberry Pi which does work quite nicely and is pretty much "plug and mine" oriented. We will be releasing an updated version that addresses a few items with Gridseed ASIC units in the next day or two as well (just posted this on our StarMiner thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=585028.0) here as well). |
