added urls to announcement threads will add a pool list which will consist of todays recommended pool depending on the coin that is most profitable, and maybe some x11 auto switch pools. Edit: will try and add seperate lists for good coins and bad coins, although with how the market is, this might be difficult if not impossible. Title: Re: The Official X11 Thread (updated daily) Post by: jedimindtriks on May 03, 2014, 04:26:53 PM do you guys know how many watts if I mine x11 coin or grosetlcoin? 2 x 290 non x and 2 x 270x gpu about half what you get with scrypt. 290 running at stock volt, uses about 250watt. so i imagine half of that. 270x uses about 200watt at stock? ofc its better to undervolt them and go down a few in core clock. my 280x runs at 1040mhz and is undervolted from 1.2volt, to 1volt. which makes it use about 190watt on scrypt coins. i went from 10kw usage, to about 3.5kw. so its absolutly worth it for me. and is your calc based per MH? because my total MH is about 95, so the numbers arent that bad. It's suppose to be quite efficient, but none of them work for me. My Scrypt minerd/cpuminers work fine, but the ones from Darkcoin for example, do not fully work. They crash shortly after starting the threads up. I'm using -a X11 which it reports is fine before it crashes. Sorry to derail I just saw this and had to say something. (only badger is fun and I kept, even bought some) you calculate the MH per second like this. if all your gpus do 100mh on x11. then its 100/2 x (btc/mh/day) so you multiply half of your MH with for example currently dreamcoin is 0.005 BTC/mh day 50 x 0.005 = 0.25 (equals 0.25 BTC a day) Which is better than scrypt :) Title: Re: The Official X11 Thread (updated daily) Post by: PHCoin on May 14, 2014, 11:51:23 PM PHCoin is getting ready to launch the x11 algo for its coin launch giving miners what they want... Anyone know what my command line should look like so I could mine straight to the open wallet??? What ever I find and try does not seem to work. Not worried about pool mining right now, just the solo mining command line.....Thanks!

Title: Re: The Official X11 Thread (updated daily)(Now with increased MH) Post by: jedimindtriks on May 25, 2014, 03:51:25 PM interesting question, tried installing it on my six card rig but didnt have the modded driver at hand so aborted the test (the comp will only install the driver on 5/6 gpus without the mod)
give me 10 minutes to test it on my rig with 5 cards. Title: Re: The Official X11 Thread (updated daily)(Now with increased MH) Post by: Eastwind on May 25, 2014, 04:05:12 PM I notice the openCL version of 13.12 and 14.4 is the same. I just tested both on my computer using the 14.4Mod, they are the same speed.
I am wondering why your 1.04V, 1040/1500MHz cards consume the same power as my 0.94V, 840/1000MHz cards and have higher hash rate. It should be 50% more due to the high voltage and clock speed. Title: Re: The Official X11 Thread (updated daily)(Now with increased MH) Post by: jedimindtriks on May 25, 2014, 04:26:16 PM checked the voltage today, system usage is about 550watt for 5 card setup, and about 650watt for 6 card setup. all i have is the killawatt.
as i said before. not 100% how to measure vddc. since gpuz and afterburner show different results. but in my previous posts i explained what i did to lower the power usage as much as possible. and i notice about 0.025 increase in hash going from 13.12 to 14.4 so basicly no change :) but the reject rate is about 1% on 2 of the 5 cards.
