Title: Airchat + Bitcoin
Post by: Bitobsessed on May 04, 2014, 07:25:54 AM
I just came across Airchat on GitHub.  Just wondering if it could be used to send bitcoins?
You can read about it here: GitHub lulzlabs/airchat (https://github.com/lulzlabs/AirChat/)

Pretty funny code review: Code Review lulzlabs Radio AirChat (http://www.daemon.de/blog/2014/04/25/351/code-review-lulzlabs-radio-airchat/)

AirChat is complete bullshit. Whoever wrote it is literally clueless. The idea is pretty cool however, but GPG via Morse Code would probably be better than this.

Could it be used to send Bitcoins? Well if one of the participants was connected to the Bitcoin network then yes it could.

Another way which would not require connection to the Bitcoin network would be by sending a private key - if both sender/receiver have full trust in each other.

I hardly can imagine the situation when both sender and receiver have full trust in each other.
