Title: Let's talk about Formula 1
Post by: Snorek on May 05, 2014, 04:25:03 PM
Hello everyone, I'd like to start a new topic about current Formula 1. You can share Your opinion about current news, races, rules, and anything else that's related to modern F1.

Currently Mercedes are leading both in construction championships and with the overall car development.
RedBull is second (at least in my opinion), but if Renault can improve their power unit, then Vettel and Riccardo will be fighting for the wins.
Now my question is: As the next race will be in Spain will Redbull catch the Mercedes (or at least close the gap)? And which other team will improve?

I am not really too familiar with F1 racing. But in this season I think Mercedes will take everything. And as far I know Red Bull is susceptible to technical problems too much.

What do you think about Michael Schumacher, what If he recovers?

And Redbull can improve their units , So Mercedes can too?

I've already share my opinion there :P But the topic was only about sound so I decided to make a new topic  ::)

As for Michael we wait and see.
As for Redbull and Mercedes improving there power units is more complex then that. First there is the cooling problem, Redbul chief designer Adrian Newey tends to make his cars tightly packed witch is not good for cooling, then the Mercedes made a clever decision in placing turbos on there engines in a different way so it produces less heat. So all in all if Redbull is to catch Mercedes it will have to be something more then engine alone.

Nice F1 race today, even if it's sad to see Massa so unlucky. And on the same track, the Saturday GP2 race was also very nice to watch :)
