I could probably go 2.7BTC.  I mean its got the Applecare warantee for over 2 more years!

One of my really good friends stay on top of apple hardware prices and he said with standard ram, no SSD and no retina, $1,000.00 is fair value.  I'll go BTC2.25.

The extended 3 year applecare alone was over $300. You have guaranteed apple service and hardware warrantee service for over 2 years still. I don't think I could let it go for only $1000 because of the condition and the fact it's got the warrantee. Thank you for the offer but I just couldn't go that low. Also if you look at sold listings on eBay this same comp without apple care till 2016 has gone for 1250-1350 recently. I could go 2.6BTC shipped (assuming your in the us). I also wouldn't consider it "fair" condition. I got it at the beginning of the school year (last august) for my wife and it was hardly used. I'd consider it like new condition.

Meet me at BTC2.45 shipped and lets make it happen.

with this weekends dip I couldn't go that low. I've got a seriously interested buyer on eBay they just are worried about customs fees. They may buy it at my current price which is why I couldn't go 2.45 right now

Taking into account ebay's 10% closing fee plus the 3.9% via Paypal you will pay from an international buyer you must be at one hell of a premium since 2.45 BTC is a solid price for that laptop if you take into account what you will pay in fees on ebay..

And at 2.45 that currently would be valuing the comp at about $800+ the applecare. I know its worth more than that.

Apple Care:
You are correct that I am completely discounting the Apple Care but am fairly valuing the laptop.    I have been an apple owner for 4 laptops over the years so I can say I have decent experience with their hardware.  The reason I don't value the Apple Care is two-fold.  1)  Apple consistently builds quality hardware and if you treat it right, you will not have issues.  I have two other older laptops (bought new from Apple) that still work fine, they are just old.  2) In my experience anytime they have a major build quality issue or flaw, they always fix your laptop with or without Apple Care so I know I will be taken care of.  Of all the flaws in Apple, they are great about this point even though they make you seem you need to buy Apple Care or you are up a creek.

I hope this sheds more light on my offer.  It still stands and I do believe it is a fair offer with upside potential when Bitcoin gets its legs again.  Let me know, thanks
