It's idiotic Mtgox is handling millions of dollars a week, yet they can't even get their API right... Unbelievable. Title: Re: Who is it? Gox API has two layers: the authenticated and the public. The price feeds we get are very reliable, and we can always track the highs and the lows regardless of how the charting sites fail. I'm messing around with coding a trade bot, and I get the "deprecation notice" every time I run it, talking about how the API will be changed starting 3/1/2012. All this means for me is that I have to use some different methods, but hopefully this will also mean more solid connections for the charting sites (and whatever sources of info traders use that depend on Gox). |
