Can somebody explain to me what is a ALT faucet ...normally in Big data it would be a way to access data

but I have no idea what it is in ALT's ??

faucets actually means tap.

bitcoin faucets give you free bitcoins to try out bitcoins.
Alt faucets i guess would mean free alternate cryptocurrencies for you to try them out.

Crypto faucets in general are a waste of time, you're better off doing something productive such as engine rebuilding, welding, metal fabrication, precision machining.

Etching your own PCB is more productive than time wasting, scam like faucets, stay far away fom them.
