hey so i posted a link to a site i found that gives free bitcoins in the gambling subreddit and the mod there decided that i was scamming people $1million ?? this was completely disproportionate, at most i was posting in the wrong forum.

what am i supposed to do to correct this? anyone know who i can apeal this too?
its not that i really intend on trading with anyone on here, its just that i dont having a huge distrust thing next to my name for a sh***y mistake

This would probably best handled via reddit. Not sure how you can expect help concerning a reddit ban here.

Unless he didn't mean subreddit but the gambling subforum here, but he doesn't have any feedback (unless it's been removed). Do people give trust ratings over on the bitcoin reddit? I've not really been over there. But yeah, try take it with the redditors over there.

You've posted your ref link a few times here and you're not allowed to do that or on reddit, so a mod might leave you bad feedback if you do this often.

You don't have any feedback as far as I can see.

I doubt it would be reddit mods - it would be unfair for them to flag accounts here that are doing wrong things on there as they cannot prove the person behind it is the same. Even account names don't prove much (many popular names are taken early on all sites).

Sure it isn't. I was stating that it is extremely unlikely that you'll be punished on here for a violation of rules on Reddit. It makes a lot more sense to ban the user on Reddit itself.

I reckon the user just got a negative for posting his ref link on here and typed subreddit by accident. A mod probably left him feedback then removed it. Sometimes they leave negative for people who spam links or repeatedly post in the wrong sections, but you can get them removed usually if you apologise or whatever.

I have  a question if you post im image while writing constructive posts, is that spamming?  Since you have in image or logo?

Not sure if I understand you correctly, but writing a constructive post and posting an image along with it is fine (unless the image is completely irrelevant or you're advertising something).

Yes thats what I meant if the picture you post on the bottom of every page you write a post will consitute as spamming.

If you posted the same image with every post them I'm almost certain the mods would see that as spamming. Is this something you were actually thinking of doing?

It will very likely be considered as spamming by mods, so please don't do it. :)
