Monetory fine was ok ...But jail ? I suspect also they were both guilty here. Like you say, without evidence he hasn't got a chance of going up against a behemoth like eBay. It would've been interesting if he actually had some evidence of underhand dealings though. Shame he wasn't smart or forward-thinking enough to collect some. As per his statement on DigitalPoint, the forum he owns, he's fighting with eBay for around 7 years and have spent more than a million USD on legal bills. Typical criminal, smart enough to figure out how to cheat and manipulate the system but too stupid to realize he'd eventually get caught and pay the price.

But this Shawn's surrender is a very recent news and he is supposed to go to jail in June ...I guess. So, he is still chatting on DP. |
