Title: BTCjam scammers who owe me bitcoin
Post by: bitpop on May 12, 2014, 12:03:38 PM
Your debt from BTCjam is still outstanding and due immediately.

You can make payments to 1AyZxEbZqpGVXboSr1YMdK7QjSz3snhpEo

Debtors have been emailed a link to this post. I am willing to settle if contacted in the next few days. I haven't decided to call yet, your debt may be sold to someone more aggressive and/or local to you. Your information will be removed once paid.

Net-Arb completed their judgement and I have been awarded the following. I will provide you the judgement to verify. My next step would be to use the awarded arbitration to get a wage garnishment for the full amount plus attorneys fees. At today's prices Bitcoin is much more expensive.

Seems to be a popular trend. Everyone should just stop giving money to them for "reputation loans".

If I understand correctly, your basically the collections agent? Like you bought the debt? I showed one of my friends who is a BTCjammer this thread and that's what he told me.

No for these I'm the direct lender, what im open to is selling the debt to someone more local and aggressive to them.

So would you be interested in someone finding these people and making collections for a percentage?
Frankly I'd imagine if you want your BTC back, you're out of luck as they probably lost it [gambling] or spent it.

Without sounding rude, It seems stupid to of lent that many people any coins in the first place
I'm sure you had your logic to it. But seems slighly unprofitable.

bitpop,

I've created a new site dedicated to this sort of collection process and reporting.  I'd love it if you would take a look, provide feedback, and add your mentioned loans/scammers to the site.

Understand that I just put the site together, so it should be treated as BETA.

Again, I appreciate the feedback!

Thanks guys.

I'm trying to sell the debt. But next step is filling small claims.

One guy seems to have filed bankruptcy but I was never notified like he was supposed to do and it might have been before.

I'm trying to keep the dox here only for now.

It's horrible, do not even think that this site is so much fraud,  :-\   :o although looking loans very often meet people who openly on several loans - and the most amazing thing that finance them. I've paid for one with a delay and I fell and now the rating is not funding.

I think it must a good platform - but it needs refinement - I went there hoping to find investors to create an online game which is unique on the network.

You would never be notified unless you had a judgement, the only way you would have know is if you read the local paper for that area.

Granted, investment and credit in principle different tools. but I'm quite a long time trying to find an investor in the network, in terms of some crooks - ask what mythical prepaid ((

this decided to try in this way to develop as a loan - some funds are - and people too, but they are willing to have a conversation only if the percentage of the total cost. what that vicious circle even impossible.  :-\

And if it is no secret how much you lost to scams?  ???

On average do most borrowers repay thier loans on BTCjam?

BTCJam quotes a 10% default rate resulting in 19% annual returns, which they also claim is a low default rate for peer-to-peer lending.

I can tell you that in my experience, thus far, my non-payment rate has been closer to 25%.  Most of these people are still late, and could in theory come current, but they also haven't made contact, so I highly doubt that will happen.

I don't think I have to tell you how quickly even a single loan, and especially 10-25% can wipe out your earned profits.

If everyone of these borrowers defaults and all of my other loans are repaid in full, I'll be at -5% for the year.

Guys, how to contact the support site?

Very strange, I write about my problem and trying to attract the attention of the administration that would help me solve the problem, and in response, I see only delete comments unanswered!

Dont you know btcJam is now a white collar scam???

You should update the OP with all the loans and names.

That way it would be easier to check if someone is already here. This thread will grow quickly  ;D

I don't use facebook so I don't know this.

Is there a simple way to download all photos from a profile?

Can you send a message to all of his friends?

Something like, "Can you please ask your friend Ryan Heck to pay off his debts?" and a link to this thread.

After they default, eventually "NET-ARB" will email you a PDF containing all their info they gave the site.  Sorry, I don't know the exact time frame, but it takes a few months.

1 Download - No, not easily that I am aware of.
2 That would be very tedious - some users don't show you their friends either.

FWIW, I have messaged them all links to this page - But no replies.. shocker.  :P

At least this way, they are rising in google search so when someone searches their full name, they will see this page. ;)

I really am disappointed by the scammers that are on BTCJam and still even more disappointed at the administrators of that website for not doing anything in regards to helping lenders recover lost funds. I am developing a website right now that takes care of that and hopefully offers a better lending platform than BTCJam.

There is already a database of p2p defaulters at www.shamelist.it. Addition to it is simple, you just send related info to report@shamelist.it. Database can be searched for info: names, emails, social media, country etc via Search or in a Table format www.shamelist.it/Debtors/Data (http://www.shamelist.it/Debtors/Data).

Any feedback and suggestions are welcome at webmaster@shamelist.it

Well is just and advice ,some people may recognize the person that is being injured and well if the person hadnt made any deal ,well the law should act against bitcointalk and the user... [the rest of the text is cut off]

Well... I could imagine that Bitcointalk would inform the user here to delete/edit theire postings here, before it goes to a lawcourt either this site was hopefully watched by Moderators/Admins and if anything was 'gainst common law it would be deleted/moved/edited... or wasn't it?

Nah, nobody here cares. Besides, they owe me money, once the pay up or settle, i'll gladly remove their dox. This is how bitcoin works - if someone scams you, you report it and do what you can. I cannot afford to hire lawyers across the world, so this is what I do, maybe 1 will pay, maybe not, why not try? They don't reply to emails or facebook messages, so fuck them, let them ride to the top of google searches, not my problem.

Btw, why are you shilling so hard as a newbie for btcscam anyhow?

1. Thank 'ya for the info. :)
2. What do 'ya mean by telling me: "Btw, why are you shilling so hard as a newbie for btcscam anyhow?" - Do 'ya mean, why did I work hard for getting my sathosis and then lost all my earnings to these scum scams? ???

3. 'ya say: "I cannot afford to hire lawyers across the world, so this is what I do, maybe...[rest of the text is cut off]" - Well, me either... and I think NO attorny/lawyer would try to get these cases to the court 'couse of the invested sum was to low (the highest investing was worth 1-2 $). That means to me, I could clean up my ass with the Net-Arb after shitting if I'm in the motion to print it before. :-[ :'(

Not sure I follow you. Let me clear you up on your reading comprehension - I've bolded above what I wrote again, do you get it yet?

At least the pic you receive from net-arb and other from fb.

Tools to bash these fuckers on social networks are most welcome.

Peer pressure may be our best chance to see some of these coins back.

There's always a risk on BTC Jam that the debtors won't pay.  That is why they have a rating on BTC Jam.  When you lent to them you assumed that risk, hate to say this but no judge would award you the money and the legal fees would be very expensive and time consuming.

Hi there I'm The Angel on BTC JAM. Those photos are absolutely hilarious. Typical scammer. I've been scammed on there so many times I can't remember the day I was not scammed. The idea is to have diversified investments so that the scams don't matter so much. It works most of the time. This guy: what a loser :)
