You can't expect this new coin just to rise from nothing. Doge had backing from the 'internet elite' whereas Shibe is only something people of this forum may or may not know about.

If you are investing in coins as a currency play wouldn't you want one that is used and traded often? Doge is usually ranked top 5 by volume. It seems like a good bet in my opinion.

I'm referring to the fact that many companies are accepting it as a payment method before many other cryptos. Mass adoption also in terms of high daily trade volume. From what started out as a joke which people had a laugh about has turned into something much bigger. No it's not like BTC/LTC. I wouldn't compare them at all.
