Title: Assistance in config antminer s1
Post by: rafmed on May 15, 2014, 03:29:52 AM
Hi all,

I'm having a problem connecting to be able to configuring my Antminer S1.
I can't seem to find the Ip address for it.
I've connected the Antminer to my Desktop via ethernet cable to config and no luck.
I then connected the Antminer to my router and downloaded Ip address search software to find the IP address for the Antminer and nothing has come up.
i've turned off firewall on the router and the desktop.
All the lights on the Antminer are turn on.

i'm thinking i need to reset it. really no idea.

Any help would be much appreciated

regards
Rafmed

Is there not a sticker with the IP on it?

you could also go into your router and look at the dhcp tables and try some of the addresses listed there. I had the same problem when i purchased mine used and they weren't set to static ip addresses so i looked at the dhcp table and typed in a couple of the addresses till i found it, think i got it on the second attempt Good Luck

unfortunatly a lot of routers when the ip is static (for ex. in the standard config of the s1, 192.168.1.99) don't show on the dhcp page the device.
