I do love the American Pie series though, but not sure what I'd call my favourite movie series. People are also going to complain about The Godfather trilogy being absent (even though I personally don't care for them at all).

And some of the franchises have reboots or films that aren't really part of the originals like American Pie and all its shitty straight to dvd sequels etc.

It was totally out of its time, hard to imagine they were filmed in the 70/80s. The new episodes are not as good, did their job as a prequel trilogy. Looking forward to the new trilogy next year.
