Sounds silly, even more so by the name 'genesis'. Didn't LA Police confirm he was a private contractor for DoD (~DARPA?)?
Anyone else have this entertaining idea, tried it - have suggestions? Currently downloading entire blockchain, yaye for big data visualization! You can see live data at https://blockchain.info/ (https://blockchain.info/) You could get some interesting plots out of it, say the number of transactions per week day, the volume etc. They have all kinds of charts here https://blockchain.info/stats (https://blockchain.info/stats), so you can see the data over time.
