Post by: Cutie_Mari on May 16, 2014, 03:22:45 AM
What would you do for a Twinkie????? I want to see some creative answers as Twinkies are really good.

Personally I would do a variety of things. They are really delicious, I think they are my favorite dessert.

What is this? Some sort of western marshmallow coated with weird icing? I must admit I have never seen anything like that before. How does it taste like? This is a cake so it must be pretty sweet.
I must eat it someday to check myself if it is any good to say something more about it. Seems tasty tho.

You mean carboxymethyl cellulose? That's the only Twinkie ingredient that's also an ingredient in rocket fuel (though it's not the only ingredient in rocket fuel - you (probably) can't make a rocket out of Twinkie batter). It's simply a viscosity modifier, and is not just used in foods, but also in toothpastes, detergents, water-based paints, and industrial and personal lubricants. It's a very versatile chemical. Best of all, it's gluten-free!

On my break at work, I would pay a $1.25 and enjoy not one but two of the delicious treats. One of the best snack bargains IMHO.
