Title: Is bitcoincharts.com wrong?
Post by: Jeremy West spendbitcoins.com on January 25, 2012, 09:34:38 PM
According to http://bitcoincharts.com/markets/mtgoxUSD_depth.html at the moment, there is a bid in for 1100 BTC at 6.29 each, and thousands more bitcoins on the way down to 5.74, where btc is currently trading on Mt Gox.

So, is bitcoincharts pulling the data wrong, or is Mt Gox missing a bunch of orders when executing trades?

Jeremy, it's been like that for a few hours now, and not just on Gox - other exchanges too.  Look at the overview page at recent last trades and you'll see many below the bid/ask spread.

Any idea why?
