This PREGNANT lady has been given a Verdict by an Islamic court  100 Lashings and then she shall be hung. The Crime? Married a Christian and converted to christianity. Can anyone or an religion possibly support this and think that their God approves of this? Sorry to say this is by far one of the worst things i have seen from this religion.

INSANITY!

It's not insanity, it's genuine islam.

Islam is not a religion, it's an ideological platform. Simplistically speaking, Islam has two faces, Meccan and Medinan. The Meccan face declares islam as a religion of peace, and used while this ideology isn't a major in their society. When ideology accepted by majority, they're slowly switching to Medinan form.

Anybody who sees islam as "just another religion" makes a fatal mistake. There are a lot of denominations of islam, learn the Quaran history and you will understand the difference between them.

This doesn't seem outrageous for the religion of Islam. In most Islamic countries, they're openly against other religions. Changing your religion is seen as being against it. So it's not outrageous. Things like this happen everyday.

EDIT:

I assume if one of your parents was Muslim, then you're still fucked if you 'convert' to another religion.

I don't see why God would have an issue; he's ruined far more lies in far worse ways.
