Nice 404 error you got there :)
That and you have no trust and advertising a raffle site? Good luck.

Please move this post to the 'Service Announcement' section.

I believe gambling is the most appropriate section for this new raffle site. :)

First, you should do more testing. Your site isn't accessible with the 404 error.
Also, you need to work a bit harder to get our trust to send you 0.01 btc.

Every Saturday at 5.00 pm (UK) we select one winner from the addresses who have entered and send them 1 full BTC / 10 LTC!
BTC 0.01 / L 0.1 Entry

What if there are less than 100 entries? Will you do a refund or the winner gets a smaller prize?

See, that's exactly the reason that this site won't work. He has no established trust, so how does he expect his site, which is not even accessible, to get so many payments?

Calling failed SCAM right now.

Possible. :)

OP, you could scam 10 times easier with ponzi and you don't even need a website for that lol. ;)

I apologise for the site not loading for you.
It was loading okay for myself and still does - maybe you could retest it and let me know?

I have been trading and mining for a while now so have collected myself more than I had initially expected to and have decided to distribute some of my profit to help others get started into Bitcoin / Litecoin in a sort of Raffle type game.

Should there be less than 100 entries, the draw will still happen.
(although if I find we are frequently receiving less than 100 entries a week, I may change this to a "entry rollover"; where if less than 100 people enter, their entry will be carried forward to the next week and so on)

I realise this may seem like a ponzi scam but can only say, why not stick around until I prove my legitimacy and establish a trust within the community?

Why not prove your legitimacy and establish trust BEFORE? Seems like the logical thing to do before asking people for money to enter in a game.
Also, your site simply DOES NOT LOAD.

What is interesting is that the IP of your site, 173.193.106.11, is on the Spamhaus Domain Block List.
You been spamming your site or something?

I'm happy to prove my legitimacy before accepting any payments although unsure of how I can, and I had some issues with the domain name but it SHOULD (3rd time lucky!) be working now (appreciated if anyone can confirm on their end!)

I wasn't aware of the Spamhaus domain block list issue and seems this is some kind of error on the end of the domain providers but seems to be sorted on my end!

Seems like it finally works :O
But it'll be a while before somebody trusts you enough :)

Thanks for testing it again and I look forward gaining trust for the draws to begin!

Site isn't loading up on my phone, but how is the winner chosen? Trouble with raffles is there needs to be a fair/random and verifiable draw to prove that one of your addresses isn't just "winning".

See, that's why this site/user has no trust at all, even remotely.
Not transparent in any way, and has completely no reputation.

I still wouldn't trust a person on here even if they were the most 'trusted' / most 'respectable' member if the draw wasn't verifiably random. If this is just a case of op saying 'trust us' then it's a scam or people should at least assume as such.

I understand the communities worries over the legitimacy of the draw and would feel the same way if I were entering the draw myself.

Currently I was planning to enter all of the addresses used to enter that weeks draw into random.org, then generating a winner that way.
(I could provide screenshots of the generated winner list, which can be verified with the addresses that had sent to the competition address.)

I realise this method of a winner being chosen isn't ideal and I am looking into alternate ways I can provide transparency! - Your own ideas are appreciated.

I had also a few issues with the site displaying correctly on mobile devices so had turned it off for the moment but I actually completely forgotten to return to adjust the mobi site. - I will look into this now! :)

Using RANDOM.ORG is in no way verifiable through a screenshot. Just make as many draws as you need to pick the "correct" winner! =D
