Title: Activity
Post by: Davis14 on May 18, 2014, 02:00:57 AM
How does activity increase is it by post count or time spent on the forum?

It is partially linked to post count - more linked to how many two week periods you have been active in. Refer to here for an in-depth explanation:

So yeah, besides of lots of posts your account also needs some time to "rank up".

asymptotically, it increases 1 by day, provided that your number of posts is greater or equal than the number of days you logged in.

It is updated every 14 days

If I'm not wrong, it is updated every 30mins if you have an activity limit that is more than the post count and you post another reply. The limit will increase by 14 every 2 weeks.

y, you can get 14 activity each 2 weeks, or each 30 mins if you still can "claim" more activity by making more posts. For me it goes up by 14 at once each 2 weeks

It might be because you made more post than your current available activity so it only increase every two weeks. But at your original post, updated at every 2 weeks seems wrong.

it is wrong, but it is what I see  ;D

more precisely: Your maximum activity increases by 14 each two weeks. I think now should be right ;D

You realize you posted a question about something that is explained in the "NEWBIE README" in the same forum section?

It's kinda harder to spot that post as a newbie now that there's no restriction to only post in the board it's a sticky to.
