I've done alot of business with him in the past, and everyone knows him here to not be a scammer. It sucks that he's not responding, have you tried emailing him? I never liked the pump though an according to studies it doesn't change your a1c vs using normal injections. Plus I've heard horror stories of malfunctioning pumps, hell even another type 1 on the bitcoin forum had issues and ended up posting about it and having to pull the tube out before it overdosed him.
