Did you know that Li Ka-shing ("Superman") is also investing millions in BitPay, despite the current situation in China?

There is a lot of smart money moving into Bitcoin either directly or indirectly.

Yes and we all need to keep telling ourselves and everyone else that, so we might start believing it.

Investing to BitPay is clearly smart move. When we get rid of credit card companies and start using Bitcoin payment systems, these startups will make a lot of money. (Money = Bitcoin of course)

smart move, but 30 millions is still small money for billionaires. But the simple fact they are willing to invest money on btc is a form of validating them as a legit investment, and will probably be a green light for many people enter the market

The forced 'make-believe', the commitment to self-delusion and self hypnosis, is one of the most toxic things in this whole forum.

Self delusion works both ways. The more time that passes without BTC collapsing, the more shaky it looks for detractors. What else is going to support the belief that bitcoin is money, other than everyone eventually believing that it is? Thats how money works.

Exactly. In fact everything in society is based on what people believe in. If a critical mass of people decided today that dollars are just toilet paper and has no value it will become true. People hold an enormous amount of power to shape this world if they are focused enough, we've just lost that power and have come to believe that banks/governments/something outside ourselves hold that power. But it's just that collective belief or self-delusion that makes it actually true, we can grab that power right back using that same belief and change it. This is what Bitcoin on a fundamental level is about imo.
