Title: Freebitco.in "Free" Roll earnings?
Post by: Kprawn on May 20, 2014, 06:14:45 AM
Hi

Can someone who have a faucet explain to us, how this works?

1. Will the "amount" received for every "roll" decrease over time, for each individual? Say..you start with "550" and over time you get less?
2. If you win a "Jackpot" or gamble, and win big, will your Free coins decrease?

STATS :

Can some of you, who make use of this faucet, post a screenshot of your "Personal stats" for comparison purpose?

Much appreciated.

I don't think that the winnings are based on an individual, but rather that the site has x amount to give from its wallet and it uses that amount to determine how much can be won at the time.

I believe apart from what they get for the banner advertisements they mainly fund the faucet with the dice game in the "multiply btc" tab of the page.

If you look at their stats and if those stats aren't fake the difference between bitcoins won and bitcoins wagered averages around 1 BTC going to their wallet per day.

I am pretty sure that the amount you get from the faucet each hour somehow is connected to the stats of the dice game as it varies a lot. I have seen it go as low as 360 Satoshis and go as high as 520 Satoshis.

As far as my personal stats go: I disabled the Automatic withdrawel and gathered about 0.001 BTC so far. But I click it just a few times a day. Definetly not every hour.

most of faucets you gain a fixed ammount from time to time.
others are random, like bitco.in. If you win big, what is unlikely to happens even if they are really provably fair; if you win big the reward wont be lesser in others rows and to get free btc, if they are really provably fair

Well I started way above 500 and it gradually went down, never up, and is on 438 now.

Looks like between 300 000 and 400 000 games are played daily. {With 490 000 registered players}

With about 1000 new users registering every day.

So they doing something right.

1 Bitcoin income per day, sounds a lot tho... If that is true, give me directions on "creating" a site like that. I will resign today ;->

$randomnumber = rand(0,100);
if ($randomnumber > 98) $winnings = 1.0;
else $winnings = 0.00000330;

There you go. Now you have a random script that will either let someone win a Bitcoin or 330 satoshi.

It's not hard to do. Marketing it and getting people to use it is the hard part.

Minimum amount that you can get from each roll depends on current bitcoin price.
It is not connected to your multiply winnings in any way.

Best thing about this faucet is that it has a great referral system, and you can earn massive 50% commission on all free play earnings made by your referred users.

Well, I must have the laziest "referrals" on this planet.

Only received 0.00002706 BTC from REFERRAL COMMISSIONS in the last 3 weeks.  :(

People just do not get it.

I created a little manual for the new people. {From creating a wallet to registering on the site} and emailed it to them, to get them started.

Out of the first 50 emails, only 2 registered. And those to seldom "Roll" the dice.

Maybe I am just bad luck.

What did you guys do, to get good referrals?

You can always try to increase your referral rate, so you land on some good ones?

Most people though are referred, so im paying mine for the active ones.

Everyone is going to be different. There is no way to "get good referrals." The only thing you can do is manipulate them by offering rewards for those that play x times, or offer up 50% of the earnings you get from them or whatever.

What did you guys do, to get good referrals?

I have created automated betting script for freebitco.in and I made this script available only to my referral users. I have published this script 2 months ago and it became so popular over night. At this moment I have more the 700 referrals and I earn around 0.001 btc per day.
I also pay 100,000 satoshi to my most active referral every Sunday after freebitco.in payout, list of my top10 referrals can be found here http://phptaskforce.uk.to/topten

Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsUZwt_q6ZU

Some other ways to get referrals:
- use your forum signature
- write blog posts about faucets (include your ref link)
- share ref link with your friends/followers on social networks
- use rotators
...

Good Luck   :)

The only way you can earn something on freebitco.in is with referels. Don't even bother going to the MULTIPLY BTC section. Also try using dailybitcoins, colect and sell those vouchers at peerdice. Good Luck!

Well I am certain it's not linked to the value of bitcoins.

I recorded payouts over a period of a day. And also what the Bitcoin value was.

00430 - 1 BITCOIN = $522.72
00428 - 1 BITCOIN = $512.20
00407 - 1 BITCOIN = $514.22
00403 - 1 BITCOIN = $518.60
00397 - 1 BITCOIN = $520.21
00384 - 1 BITCOIN = $528.72

So the payouts are getting less and the Bitcoin value increased.

Looks like it is linked to either the amount paid out to a individual and frequency of use. {The more you received, the less you get}

How much are you guys getting today? Post please. {For comparison}

DO NOT play the Multilpy BTC {Hi-Lo Game}

It is rigged to take all your money, even on the options with the highest chance of success.

I tested it, over and over, to see if it is PROVABLY FAIR as is stated on the site. And believe me, it's not.

They say this :

    Two strings are created :
    STRING1 = "[NONCE]:[SERVER SEED]:[NONCE]"
    STRING2 = "[NONCE]:[CLIENT SEED]:[NONCE]"
    For your last roll :
    STRING1 = "2652:a7fT2y4g3y5J:2652"
    STRING2 = "2652:pYtWsLgH5gaAY5gJ:2652"
    Then HMAC-SHA512 is used to hash STRING1 with STRING2 giving us a 128 character hex string.
    The first 8 characters of the hex string are taken and converted to a decimal.
    This decimal is then divided by 429496.7295 and rounded up to the nearest whole number.
    This whole number is used as your roll, with the maximum possible value being 10,000.

I say Bull$%^ When you loose 94 times in a row, there are no variable in play.

The FREE faucet payouts are also configured to pay less over time. {In no way linked to the income of the site or the current Bitcoin price}

Looks more like a basin with a small dripping faucet and a big drain, with a pipe going back to themselves.

I'm on same boat. from 15 referals only two are acive.
Others make about 2 rolls and then, as I think, they just made annother account reffered to first one.

It's bad attitude. I don't think they got payout from inactive first account. It's so selfish, shame on them.

I don't think you should blame them.
After all, they are not getting paid to work for you, but generating revenue (though very tiny amount) for you for free.

I'm doing that, share almost all I got from them, but not working ... mainly because less active users get only few satoshi ( I Share amount based on referral activity since last payout )
so first two get 90% and others just rubbish ... this won't motivate anybody.

Think it's bit about luck and what person you refered

So why don't you try "Share amount equally among all referrals"?, and try it regularly (twice a week) or maybe at certain time. Or if you have their contact, tell them that you give them some bounty for rolling each hour
