Title: LinuxCoin remote desktop
Post by: wickss on January 30, 2012, 11:53:57 PM
I just got my first rig working.  I followed the instructions for the headless miner setup. (http://www.linuxcoin.co.uk/wiki/index.php/Headless_Linuxcoin)  (It doesn't start automatically, but that is a different problem for a different day.)  I am now trying to set up the remote desktop.  I opened the remote desktop preferences.  I clicked to allow other users to view and control my desktop.  Everything else is unclicked ATM.  So I am trying to connect using these instructions. (http://www.linuxcoin.co.uk/wiki/index.php/SSH_X11forwarding)  I run PuTTY and enter the right address.  (port is automatically set to 22.)  Then the telnet screen comes up.  It asks for a login and password.  How do I set this or find it?
