Title: Wallet Recovery Services - Forensic/Block Post by: Resunta on May 22, 2014, 04:29:15 PM Hi All,
I am writing here to offer my services in recovering data from damaged hard drive's. I have done this so far with a couple of clients and they have been pleased with the results. As with any data recovery there are limitations, in particular, financial. My skillset lies between a damaged partition ranging from an unmountable drive. An excessive clicking and/or platter fusion where the mechanics would have to be replaced is out of my wheelhouse. I have only recently started fortifying my DataRecovery enough to offer it as a service. My company name is Infinite CPU Solutions, and i recently recovered 4 BTC's in various wallets from a client who was gracious enough to provide me a generous payment of .25BTC and 2 Videocards. I understand your data is precious and the nature regarding trust, especially in a zerotrust world, so for this client to put their trust in me meant a lot. Please contact me if you believe i could be of assistance to you. My aim is and always has been to simply provide great value and not just a lump sum of data for the person to sift through. Thanks, Anthony https://www.facebook.com/Infinite.CPU.Solutions Title: Re: Wallet Recovery Services - Forensic/Block Post by: Propulsion on July 03, 2014, 01:30:28 AM Bookmarking.

Hi, i haven't checked this thread in a while, but that is an excellent idea. I will ask them to do so. Since the forensic recovery i have not had a client in need of that service so far. What is more common however is a wallet.dat replacement/wallet re-synchronizing. Some people devalue this work because it is simple to them, but it is important to note that while we all are dealing with Crypto-Currencies, file systems are not everyone's forte. 99% of wallets are housed in Appdata/Application Support directories, but making sure the wallet syncs up with a user's backed up Wallet.dat can face these issues: 1)Remnants of previous blockchain due to improperly deleted appdata components. 2)Bad and/or needed nodes in .conf file. 3)Conf file needed to be permissioned correctly in order to be read. 4)Fear of messing up, and you want a tech that will not lose your coins that you worked hard for.
