Title: cgminer 3.7.2 - Gridseed not working Post by: EBK1000 on May 22, 2014, 08:52:19 PM I am running 4 * Gridseed orb miners with cgminer 3.7.2 as supplied by HighOnCoins.com image for Raspberry PI. I ran it with three Gridseeds and it works perfectly. I then added a fourth and it shows up in cgminer but the fourth Gridseed does not appear to do any work. The hashrate in cgminer is shown as 1.44 MH/s but as can be seen from the screen shot it does not get any work?? Does anyone know anything about this?? I have tried to reset etc.

Code: cgminer version 3.7.2 - Started: [2014-05-22 18:29:36] I am mining a low diff coin, solo I had issues with cgminer too, but it worked perfect as i used cpuminer Title: Re: cgminer 3.7.2 - Gridseed not working Post by: EBK1000 on May 23, 2014, 05:04:10 AM I tried to use cpuminer too but I couldn't figure out how to start the 4 Gridseeds. I opened 4 different windows and started them separately but then only two would hash and the others just run but not produce anything. So how do you start the 4 together in cpuminer??
Title: Re: cgminer 3.7.2 - Gridseed not working Post by: schnebi on May 23, 2014, 05:47:59 AM I did it with 2 G-Blades, so also 4 devices, because one G-Blade contains two boards with 40 Chips each, but it should be no difference.
this is my startup line in the .bat file for cpuminer: Code: minerd --freq=800 --gc3355=\\.\COM3,\\.\COM4,\\.\COM5,\\.\COM6 --gcc3355-chips=40 --url=stratum+tcp://Poolname.com --userpass=user:password you have to set freq to =888 instead of =800 an gcc3355-chips to =5 instead of =40. You also have to figure out on which USB Ports youre Gridseeds are. On my PC USB0,1 and 2 are Mouse, Keyboard and Printer, so the Blades start at Port 3. But you can just try.
