I know a forum member that has ordered a BFL 50 GH rigbox. Perhaps he wants to out himself (not gonna do it). I'm sure he will give a review once he got it running. If you aim for 50 GH a rigbox will be cheaper than singles and GPUs.

I was able to run some number for a potential client and would like to share them with all of you. They are in an area where they have to pay $.20 USD KWh and are interested in a farm at 50GHash/S. Because of limited space and high electric costs they are interested in FPGA's. So what I would like to do is show the number behind running a farm of BFL singles and a farm of 7990's. I understand that the BFL singles have not been proven to run at these number or even exist at all but it is the best FPGA option assuming they will exist in the next 6 months.

Are you taking into account blocks going down to 25 BTC near the end of this year?

We can help the overall numbers for the rigs by adding a 7950 or even having 5x 7990s to a rig.

Impossible. There is a limit of 8 GPUs per rig due to ATI drivers. Shows you don't know your stuff. :D

Why don't you compare this with Icarus which has already shipped and runs at 380-400Mh/s @ 20W?

2 year profit (after electric and the set up costs are covered)
BFL expected at .20 KWh $91,620
7990s expected at .122 KWh $76,765

Wouldn't the 7990's use more electricity than the BFL's?  ???

Instead of trolling, I shall point out that there is a hell of a lot more to it than that, such as warranty, resale value, etc. Try re-reading the first post in its entirety.

Thanks, I kinda got caught up and stopped reading after I hit that point :D I also thought you were referring to the electricity usage for some reason, not the BTC-KWh. Man, I've been terrible at noticing the obvious lately! I haven't even started drinking tonight!
