Also posted in forums where I got it from and most the people on it got no problems like it. Also gone though a lot of testing and errror stuff as above with them and still no joy. my friend have got the same phone ;) He uses the latest cyanogenmod rom ;) try that out, on his Xperia S runs it with all. is your wlan broken ? Wifi is working on home network and other phones I have and works fine.
