The person that bids closest to the actual price wins the auction and has to send you the amount they bid in redeemable Mt.Gox code. Then you send them 1 Bitcoin. Is that right?

Almost right but not necessary closest to the actual price. Actually ,when I test this in China before,on person get the bitcoin at 3.63USD,and the actual price is 5.9USD.The highest win the bitcoin.If 3.63USD is the highest,then he win. If I bid 1USD and no one out bids me then I win. It's purely an auction.
