Yes, according to this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303414.msg3269475#msg3269475

Is It worth to pay that much for these accounts?

You decide but with current signatures campaigns you can make back your money In less than from 4 to 10 days and start making good profit the same week.

Why dont you just use it for signatures? I`m pretty sure most will think that price is too high.

He would have to take over all the accounts for sigs which would just be a waste of time.

Yes I do use one account for signature deal, but I have more accounts for sale. I can't manage all accounts for sig deals. And the price is no way to high Sr. Member with 240 activity + will cost you 0.35 - 0.4 BTC and I'm selling account with 224 activity for 0.25 BTC so I think It's a fair deal.

Snr accounts don't seem to go for more than 0.4 unless they're really high activity and well on their way to becoming Hero Members, but the account he's selling isn't even a Snr yet. There's plenty of competition with account sellers now so if you want to sell it quickly you'll have to undercut competition. I'm sure we'll see more and more accounts being sold as time goes on so the price will probably get lower and lower as well.

Thanks, yes I know It's pretty cheap , that's why It's a good deal, hoping to get a buyer soon.

Exactly , Sr. Member price starts from at least 0.35-0.4 BTC with 240 activity and It goes up If It has more activity , like 270 activity - 0.45 ,  300 - 0.5 , 330 - 0.55 , 360 - 0.6 and so on, and I'm selling 224 activity for 0.25 BTC so It's cheap.

No need for competition on account sales people know account price according to other factors like signature deals, signature limits, and time to get to that status, these factors are important setting the price so we just keep the price stable without lowering It.

I have only 2 at the signature campaigns, as It is against campaign policy to have more than one account at the campaign from the same person. The price depends on activity.

You must be kidding or something.Full member at FXO campaign earns that much from one post. And Senior more than that.

Sorry but your offer is way to low, like other guys stated before, you can earn 0.0009 per one post at FXO.

I'm willing to sell Full member at FXO for 0.09 BTC. You can earn this back just in a week or if you are more active you can pay off your investment in just 3 days and start earning money same week. Payments at FXO are weekly.

I honestly think that any account that is bought/sold should be listed in a thread to prevent future scamming on the accounts by the new owner.

Not a good idea i think, somehow people will likely to give negative trust to these account. That's why an account seller never show the name of account they sell

What negative feedbacks are those? The only people who have left him negative are from scammers/users who have red negative feedback aside from you (which I'm sure you'll join them soon). Are you trying to say he took the account and never released it to the buyer nor did he send you the money?

Because I buy/sell/resell accounts and I have potential buyers. And If you would try to sell your account yourself probably It would take much longer to do so. Also I do get good price for account, especially for higher ranks.

Hi,
Is that true that someone bought a hero account for 3 BTC? I know that selling and buying accounts is legal on the forum, but I am getting suspicious of hero members with long term positive trust. The quickest way to scam someone ... At least the trading of hero accounts must be anounced on the forum and to be public! No offense at all!

I am highly against scamming and I sell all the accounts for Status perks and signatures deal purposes only.

If you feel that the person isn't trusted that you are dealing with, please use trusted escrow like escrow.ms for the trade.

Why would you want to know what the price is now because they could be worth a completely different amount in the future? You usually get around 0.4 for Snr Members.

That's more of a reason not to sell your account then as it could be used for nefarious purposes. I'd be careful what you say around here as you could lose that trust pretty quickly.

Hi byt411, 266 activity account would cost about 0.35-0.4 BTC, trust adds more value to the account and It varies depending on the buyer. Also almost 3k posts would add some more value too.

The main reason is to join signature deals as you need a higher ranking account to join them. And you see that 6 minute wait you have between each post? Well higher accounts such as mine don't have it.

The time limit between posts decreases the more activity you get. Full Members have a time limit but i think it's only a few seconds so you probably wont ever notice it. There's a thread in Meta about the time limits and Member stages etc if you want to check it out.

Trade with caution: see this users trust rating: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=24713

Appears to be an account that gumball99 sold outside of escrow. It looks like gumball99 acts as a broker, and pays the owner of an account when it sells, taking some percentage of the profit. It looks like in this case escrow was not used between gumball and the account owner.

Any chance he is just AFK for some reason(sick, jail, in asylum or wharever), and not just scamming people by purpose?

This is indeed a serious issue

Isn't selling an account on BCT un-ethical? I know its allowed by BCT, but just think of the repercussions?

If i were a scammer, i would go ahead and purchase one of the trusted senior member accounts and then go around spreading news about a new coin i developed. Since the member is a Senior / Hero member, most people would believe what is being said and may invest. The scammer can take all funds and run! I cant see one good use of buying a Sr. Member / Hero Member account from the buyer. I am sure most of the time they are bought with malicious intent. Maybe BCT should not allow people to sell their accounts this way!

Maybe i just need to stop trusting whatever i hear from Sr. / hero members in future or just take it with a pinch of salt! :D

Account trade is allowed because there is no way to stop it to happen behind the scenes, so there is no false sensation that everything is fine and sock puppets do no exist.
I think most of the times the accounts are bought for signature programs, scammers just create their own accounts or use newbie accounts to scam, because seniors and hero accounts aren't cheap and they risk being themselves scammed if they buy.
Also don't trust hero and seniors only because they are hero and senior is a good thing that everyone should make.

Hi Jabberwock,

Thanks for your reply!

I was just reading another thread on here somewhere where a Legendary member was asking for a loan and the loan was advanced to that person, predictably because of their ranking. The Legendary member then went AWOL after taking loans from several people. I know they should have probably taken collateral, but they were probably mesmerized by the Ranking and felt they had nothing to lose. These are the kind of things i am worried about where these accounts can be misused. I understand that there is no mechanism to keep these things in check, but always wish there was a way to prevent such sales. Wishful thinking i suppose! :)

Do you really think that spending time or posting on a forum creates reputation? That's an old trick that people have always pulled on forums -- padding post count to give the appearance of reputation. Activity was just a recent addition. But honestly, if you can't see past that when dealing with real money, you're just gonna get burned on the next trade, until you learn. My two cents....
