Title: [FAKE] Families Boycotting Overstock Due to Them Accepting Bitcoin
Post by: Phinnaeus Gage on May 25, 2014, 06:35:02 PM
NO, it's not true, but can you easily envision Overstock's competition spearheading such a campaign to better their bottom line, all because The Bitcoin Foundation, with its board members who have a myriad degrees under their belt, are too Goddamn stupid to realize the ramifications of putting an accused pedophile on the ballot, then justifying their actions after Brock Pierce wins the board position?

Well, guess what? I probably just made said competitions millions of dollars, while I'm still out 1,132 BTC due to Paymium's principals being nothing but thieving bastards.

~Bruno Kucinskas

PS: Now, that I clearly have this Tiger by the tail, I bet it's safe to assume that Brock Pierce WILL be losing his cushion board position within 24 hours, or do I further need to fire up some WORDPRESS-themed website, if you get my drift?

I dont understand the significance behind the bitcoin foundation.  as an avid user of bitcoins, should I?  I Have never felt compelled to learn.

Seems highly unlikely anyone would do such a thing,  especially considering overstock has nothing to do with the bitcoin foundation or that guy.

Should be boycott walmart cause some random guy at google molested a child ?  It's not related.  Neither is overstock and the foundation.

it's basically there to help its members get whatever the fuck they want, while publicly claiming that they were just there to serve bitcoin.. they are the politicians of cryptocurrency, except they are even less necessary.

How much damage can PG do to Bitcoin because of his allegations, and that's all they are.  Is everyone willing to lose value in Bitcoin over this?  He needs to shut up and instead devote his attention to something that will increase the price

Would you boycott all businesses accepting USD if some federal reserv guy was accused of molesting a kid? And is it even true?

You're new around, so you don't know my history of how I have championed Bitcoin on my own dime (satoshi) for the past going on three years.

Now, you're suggesting that I shut the fuck up while my 1,132 BTC stolen from me via Paymium's davout increases in value in ONE of David (staff on this forum) fat-ass bitcoin wallets, hence devoting my time to regaining control of the BTC that davout stole from me, segue speaking.

That said, go fuck yourself!

What I'm trying to get across is that any such campaign would be conducted by Overstock's competition as a means to increase their stock positions. Remember, it's all about money, in the same vain that Brock Pierce oversaw his various successful and failed enterprises - for the money, NOT for some ideal. Nothing more, nothing less. If Overstock's competition recognized an edge that they can exploit, they would be remiss to overlook it.

Not related to this thread, so can you provide a link where I can go read more about this drama? This would have been just a typical scam, but since it's from "David", that peaks my interest.

That would be a bit weird to be honest if their was a boycott for that reason then again I have seen some weird reasons to boycott a company before

Not sure how conspiracy theories and misleading thread titles designed to get attention are helping anyone's investment but okay.

Agreed. In fact this type of thing is true. SEC staffers got caught with loads of porn on their computers but you don't say sell stocks. The government uses drones and sometimes kills civilians but we still pay taxes.

Phinn, you're losing it.

No, I've already lost it, my 1,132 BTC, that is, via InstaWallet's "hack" of which davout won't release the name - just the motherfuckin' name - of the outfit that he claimed conducted the audit directly after the "hack". Boussac, at the time, claimed that there was more than one audit team involved.

Lemon Way, maker of ONLY ONE fuckin' app, acts as Bitcoin-Central's bank, even though three days prior to the InstaWallet hack, its CEO was asking how to get some bitcoins via his Twitter account.

They fucked with the wrong person, and I gave them every motherfuckin' opportunity to return my bitcoins, but now on ignore, just like Boussac did at the very onset of starting the InstaWallet refund thread.

Ignore me now, you motherfuckers! I've only begun!

I can totally relate. I will not stop until I have recovered my Bitcoin from the MtGox meltdown.

I hope you both get your coins back. I was lucky enough to get into BTC right after the Gox debacle so I got an early lesson about exchanges and trust in general.

There are laws against this kind of activity so Overstock's competitors will never do it.  End of story.

No, not the competitors themselves, but via cleverly embedding the idea in their minions heads.

I'm only inches away from doing it myself, for I do know how to use social media, i.e. Facebook. I'd say some hacked together campaign can go viral in about a week.

These fuckers wanna play via using the money they stole from us, fine! Now that we see how the game is truly played, it's time to even the score.

To be clear, I'm one pissed off motherfucker right about now! These fucks, some of which our Poles, pushed this Lugan a tad too far.
