Bitcoins to prepaid visa = easy. Other way round = hard as you can reverse the transaction easily. For most almost 1 to 1 transactions you'll need more rep before people trust you. Else, use virworx (the SL exchanger) to get from SL to bitcoins, but with some fees incurred. There might be other ways I'm not aware of (never did that before), so someone may give a better way.

There are some services which will convert your giftcard to PayPal or Amazon Payments.  From there you might find a trade into bitcoins.  Your options are described here:

[Edit:  Oh . a Pre-Paid VISA debit card.   That's more useful in trade.
http://www.get-bitcoin.com (http://www.get-bitcoin.com)  will accept the prepaid debit card in the mail and funds exchanged (less 3% fee) for bitcoins. ]

I tried to unload a prepaid visa on #bitcoin-otc and nobody would take it.  Because it can be reported as stolen, it is easy to reverse payments.  If you hang around there someone may need food ordered - then use your visa and they pay you in BTC.  Just an idea.
