I'm not sure about favorite, but I definitely spent a lot of time with time: Chaos, the Battle of Wizards. You are a wizard, and your mission is to kill every other wizard on the board. To accomplish this, you have an arsenal of spells at your disposal, ranging from summoning creatures to aid you in your efforts, to casting lightning bolts on the heads of your unsuspecting foes. Damn, now I want to play that game again... ;D

Here's a video of the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTFITF0ofF0 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTFITF0ofF0).

PS: while searching for the pic, I noticed that someone ported this to android.  :)

The earliest game I remember was C&C lol :D

Edit: I actually played the original nintendo with that weird brick controller ages ago but the games are so old I actually don't remember the names, I'd probably get my memory back on it though if I had gameplay footage

...and the RPG variant (Might and Magic) was also brilliant. Have you guys played Ultima Underworld? Wizzardry was also a really good one.

Anyone spend countless hours trying to play that morass of a game The Magic Candle?  I was just a kid and the instructions were so thick I just tried playing it without the instructions and I was clueless.  It was like a huge fantasy world and you had to write things down and the game took like 100 hours or something.  I had no patience though and it got really tough for my little kid brain.

Anyone remembmer and play this game growing up?  First played it on the good old Commodore 64.  Later it was released on the Nintendo.  I still it to this day on the computer through a Nintendo emulator.  You can even play it online, even though I haven't tried it.

Never heard of it, but it definitely sounds intriguing. I'm gonna have to check it out and possibly give it a try if I can find it and get it to work.

LOL!

I remember that game.  My buddy had it for the Apple IIE if I remember correctly.  The questions they asked at the beginning to prove that you were of age were hilarious.  Oddly enough, the questions are a lot harder now than they were when I was a kid, LOL!

Other than that, I think back to the store where you buy the condoms, LOL!

There you go.  ;D You will need a dos emulator like DosBox or D-Fend to run it though.

Disclaimer: I haven't tried the file yet, so be sure to have an antivirus/antimalware program ready just in case.

I always enjoyed playing the fairies since I always had the indian druid guy and the Sprites which were attractive enough plus the Elves and their double attack.
FIRST UNIT I TOOK OUT unless they had a phoenix (Then Armageddon to All of them including my own troops lol)
Late game use a skilled hero with high magic skills and send it off to suicide attack with Armageddon + a cursed item if I had one.
Recall Armageddon worked on Phoenixs but not on Dragons
Since the quests changed your Castle depending on what scenario you were playing.
That reminded me of how random the cannon fire when attacking castles were.
The Paladins Clanging sound was cool weakest ultimate hero for its HP but fast if I was lucky I mean real lucky my favorite troop was GHOST followed by Genies the best counter to Ghosts.

Go sexy sprites :)

So who remembers this one there was also that tower game as well with wizards can't recall its name atm.

Sitting here reminiscing about old school computer games and this one popped into my mind.  Surprised it hasn't been brought up yet.  I remember playing it for hours and hours, day after day.  Here is an original screen shot of it, didn't realize the game was so old.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/b0/SimCity_Mac.png

Never played that version, but I did have this version on my old IBM Aptiva.

http://www.vgmpf.com/Wiki/images/7/7a/Sim_City_2000_-_DOS_-_Small_Town.png

I really wish I still had the city I made, that thing took forever.  Once it reached full size, I was constantly tweak it and make improvements.  Then there was always the fun of setting a disaster on the city, LOL!

It was also interesting to cut power to areas, raises taxes, cut funding, etc. just to see what would happen.

I was around 16 at the time and had no life.  It's likely a good thing I can't remember that time in detail.  The amount of hours I spent on the game would probably make me throw up, LOL!

I tried playing it again around 8 years ago, whatever the newest one was at the time.  Started getting in to it far too much and had to stop playing it.  Apparently the newest one was a real train wreck.

It's fun to sit and think back to the games from the past.  I seriously had totally forgot about how much I played Sim City back in the day.

Damn! I just thought of another one I played the fuck out of:
