Okay here's the issue with the daemon for pools:


Dev - in your main.cpp you have tried to remove the donation feature of boostcoin.  However in your attempts, you have tried to compare 0 to null, and "" to null.  I tried to modify the code so it would get past that problem, but now my blocks are orphaning.  

Solomining will work, but pool mining is going to have a bad time.

So, my original idea was correct.  vout[1] needs to be "" and value of 0.0.  I had tried this but it orphaned as well.

vout[1] simply needs to be removed, as this is no auto-donating coin :-)

Several times deleted everything except the wallet and conf.Client still says 1362 blocks remaining,but doesnt sync.

as a beta test, as I've currently got no possibility to check it myself, it should work, i've updated to latest source and made some tweaks to the stratum.

don't waste too much hashes too, i cannot guarantee it is working and finding blocks at the moment

We did not fork my friend or do anything at all , the fix came in to fix sync issues where it was rejecting the first 1000 blocks of the blockchain due to them not having a developer address.

Ok, recently downloaded your client, earlier today, used conf provided, been mining blocks solo, just checked pool and on solo I am on block 8886 whilst pool supernova is on block 8950. Grrr, hope I haven't lost all my solo mined coins then.

Well I deleted the folder again, after backing up wallet.dat

This time it seems to be on the same block as the pool, sadly, after moving wallet.dat back, it is now empty. Had mined 0.03 SHC2 coin, or so I thought. Oh well

Had not had a wallet previously, although as you know, been mining V1 since ages. Downloaded V2 today, a few hours ago, as thought I would give this v2 a go at mining so downloaded version from your front page. Client version v1.0.1.0-Watson  Made conf file, changing username and password, but everything else was the same. Waited for Wallet to sync up and started to mine.
