This isn't one of those long, skinny pear-shaped stones or a short fat one. We throw those back into the pile- we don't buy them! This citrine also has gracefully sloping shoulders. This stone comes from Brazil. Most citrine is heat-treated and you can safely assume that this gemstone was treated with heat.
