I will look into the wallet of the sender..! if its filled with btc and I got just a fraction of it then maybe i won't return but if the amount sent to me is huge for the sender then maybe I'll return. :) Just Dreaming.

Pretty much. I think it's pretty tough to come across four figures of BTC or even three figures without pouring in a lot of dollars.

Earning it. You don't necessarily have to buy it.

You mean like a wage paid in bitcoin? Opportunities are few and far between there.

so Earning 52000 BTC will take lifes , without developing a strong Business , you can't just earn 52000btc working for some other person , its not 2010 where you'll get paid 10KBTC for ordering a Pizza , this is 2014 where you can buy an Island with 10K BTC ..!

I never said anything about not having a business. Don't make poor assumptions. Business owners still earn money, like the rest of us. Take Dooglus, for example. With 100BTC, he started one of the biggest gambling games for Bitcoin right now. More than a million dollars have already passed through his site. He earned it.

How so? I guess you could get in very early on a huge altcoin pump (like, say, those that bought a share of NXT way back when). But that is a huge speculative long shot.

How would one go about earning that much?

Yeah if you agree to that then we don't have a point of contradiction all well..! and btw you don't necessarily need Honest biz to make 52000, few people in past has already shown that the other way is lot easier ..! :p

That wallet probably belongs  to an exchange cold wallet or something related to bitcoin business, there are people holding that amount of bitcoin but that address register too many activity..
Btw.. that amount is only 23 m dollars, there are people who have an income of more than 5 million dollars per day  :D

Who might that be, after all the taxes and basic human requirements? By people, I hope you either mean the Elites and up, or a very small group of people.

In 2011, I was mining ~1 BTC a day using less than 200 mh/s. Think about an actual AMD video card hitting 300 megahash back in 2010 or earlier, probably would hit several blocks.

Maybe this is the serial killer from the darknet that is killing people for bitcoins!
He asks like 10-15k in bitcoins for it, maybe he was around in 2009, and got alot of bitcoins that way.
Because I see alot of transactions of 500 bitcoins, that must be something sketchy

Exchanges, most likely. Or gambling sites transferring funds to their cold wallets.

Go mine on testnet, see how many coins you can rack up in a couple of weeks. Actually, there's more hash rate currently on testnet than there was on bitcoin back in 2009 / 2010. Honestly, mining 52k coins really wasn't that hard in 2009 / 2010 era. Someone with a laptop CPU could have mined that much. Owning 80-90% of the hashing power wasn't very uncommon.

Erm, testnet is the network that was developed for testing bitcoin like transactions for bitcoin. It's quite literally exactly like bitcoin, but testnet. Quite literally, change 1 value in your bitcoind software, and it should work with testnet.

They're worth absolutely nothing. The entire testnet network is reset some often to prevent abuse of the system. You could technically run your own, with your own pool. Really, it was meant to test "new" features of bitcoin.

So I been reading some peoples replies, how does one earn btc besides buying it..?

I`m getting multiple different messages, which way is the best route for a newbie like me?

Back in 2010 / 2011, you could easily mine a massive amount of coins. If you had a decent CPU (just a quad core) back in the day, you could easily mine a block with 50 bitcoin daily. Now-a-days, the block reward was cut in half, and there's so much competition that you'd never hit a block (you have a greater chance of getting hit by a meteor, sleeping with a super model, and winning the jackpot on a lottery all in a single day).

The funny thing is, despite how old Cryptsy is, and them being a legitimate company that's registered and follows the legislation in the US, they still aren't trusted by a ton of people in the crypto community. Yet people will jump on a brand new exchange and dump everything they have on to it.

There's plenty of possibilities.

1. Mine and buy since the beginning of BTC.
2. Run a Exchanger, keep it if it makes good profit or just suddenly make it disappear or have it "hacked".
3. Run a scam forum or site.
4. Open an underground market, like silkroad.
5. Hack an important website.

This is probably an address of an exchange.

Exchanges have a legit reason to have a significant amount of BTC in their control. They also need to have most of this BTC in some form of cold storage, or at least "chilly storage" in that it is somewhat disconnected from the public internet/hot wallet/live site and the like.

Earning it. You don't necessarily have to buy it.
so Earning 52000 BTC will take lifes , without developing a strong Business , you can't just earn 52000btc working for some other person , its not 2010 where you'll get paid 10KBTC for ordering a Pizza , this is 2014 where you can buy an Island with 10K BTC ..!

Islands, pizza.  What about a pizza with 1000 island dressing

Wait, you want to earn 52k BTC?

And you're serious?

Let me laugh even harder.

You aren't going to get 52k without buying it. And even then, that's a few hundred thousand dollars.

At my country, my people buy some bitcoin just to follow digital trend at year 2009

Should transfer them to exchange because price would drop very fast to zero.
Probably couldn't even sell all.

Plus some kind of mathematical nobel prize for doing something thought as impossible.

Plus maybe some jail time if Satoshi reveals his identity and charge your for stealing their coins

In 2011, I was mining ~1 BTC a day using less than 200 mh/s. Think about an actual AMD video card hitting 300 megahash back in 2010 or earlier, probably would hit several blocks.

Thats until Asic`s came around right?

Or open a service that will be like the Microsoft of the desktop OS, but related to bitcoin world

Or find another Gox and take yours 150k coins, but also create a crysis that will drive the prices 3x lower

Lol. What are you talking about?  There are plenty ways to get that much BTC without scamming. And I bet no scammer will ever be so successful (at these prices)

- either it is an exchange/service address
- early adopter
- Fund that bought them
- Rich person that bought them

If time travel really was possible, all those ways of earning money from buying stocks/bitcoin or playing the lottery wouldn't work, since other people would do the same. It really only works if you are effectively the only person to possess that ability!

Resurrecting an old thread but balance is now  66,583.22391617 BTC and at today's dollars that is some serious scratch to just sit on. I am sure that whoever owns it is either wealthy or dead.

$1626.70 * 66,583.22391617 = $108 + million.

HACKING its easy way to get
It may be easy to get Bitcoin from hacking, but it's also easy to get into trouble when getting Bitcoin via hacking.
Regardless, I think the easiest way to get Bitcoin is to work a regular job and then buy some. The person who owns the address OP posted could very well be rich and be using Bitcoin as an investment.
