Why would investors or individuals take it upon themselves to make Bitcoin redeemable for Gold?

There seems to be some part of your idea that isn't clear enough.  Please answer these questions:

Who?
What?
How?
Why?

And then you can consider legality.

Do you see how the price moves so easily?

DRK has momentum that cannot be denied.

Add to the mass and the swings will be great.

What the community does with it is up to them.
yea it's called the devs and their premine playing the market.
pump pump pump DUMP whoosh

Objectively speaking, there are no reasons as of why Darkcoin will have a higher price than Monero beyond marketing and hype.

But yet it still has momentum.

All coins could technically be a pump and dump.

It all depends on the time frame.

If BTC went to zero I could claim that it was a multiple year pump and dump.

The micro and macro characteristics are the same.

What you do with it doesn't have to be.

-Create a product
-Build perception
-Invest in product
-Watch the value rise
-Hold or sell

All coins follow this path.

The time it has to live depends on how much you feed it.

Critical mass keeps it floating.

Pump and dump appears to be having the same affect as the term conspiracy theorist.

An anti meme aimed at destruction in favor of another coin that will do the same thing.
double spacing is fscking annoying
